Knicks did the best they could with this flawed roster. They just don't have the pieces right now.

i guess cutting Corey Brewer wasn't such a good idea after all?

Knicks need a new owner.

The Celtics rebounding last night was absolutely horrible. If they give up that many offensive boards to the Bulls/Heat, they're going to get swept.

Why don't the Celtics play Troy Murphy?

I know he had sprained his ankle a few weeks ago. If that's not the problem, then maybe the reason the Celtics aren't playing him is that he's never been on a playoff team and has zero playoff experience. If that's the case, the Celtics are downright stupid not to play him.

Token white guys don't get to play unless it's garbage time. Ask Scal.

Scal's the expert when it comes to garbage time.

The Celtics just flat out dominated the Knicks in that one, Pierce and Allen just shot the lights out all game and Rondo had his triple double before the end of the third quarter, also finishing with a franchise record for assists in a playoff game. The Knicks might be able to take Game 4 but with their injuries combined with the Celtics seemingly getting back into gear, I'm now doubting that this one ends up as being as competitive as most of us predicted before the series began or the first two games of the series suggested it would be. I could be jumping the gun there but it doesn't sound hopeful for Billups, Amar'e appears to be in rough shape and if the Celtics put forth that kind of effort in Game 4, I'd say they'll pick up the sweep.

15-11-20 for Rondo  Domination from the first minute... Amar'e never appeared either...

RONDOOOOOO!
Looks like he finally got out of his sadness for losing Perkins. Hope it's not temporary and end up like those of Mobley-Francis or LeBron-Mo.

I actually had heated arguments with folks who thought the Knicks were going to win this series. Shows you how clueless some fans are. Celtics may be old, but they're battle-tested, execute at money time and are better coached. Knicks have two stars and an aging PG surrounded by D-league players, and a coach who can't adjust.

Now hold on. The knicks almost won both games in Boston. without the awesomeness of Ray Allen this would be a 2-1 series in favor of the Knicks! This would also be a different series without the injury to Billups.

Add Rondo's performance in Game 2. I bet the Knicks would have a hard time if Shaq played in this series.

Yeah, and without the awesomeness of Derrick Rose, Indiana would lead 3-0!!!

It'd probably be 2-2. Rose has been awful in the two Indiana games.

'Almost' means nothing. I've seen enough Knick moral victories over the past 40 years. Getting it done at 'winnin' time' seperates the real from the pretenders.

If Donnie Walsh is brought back(we'd better pray Dolan does), I have faith he'll get the pieces to make the Knicks an upper-echelon team. But I have concerns about the coaching staff.
