Close call for the Heat in Game 1, but at this point I still like their chances of finishing it off in five, tops.

Too close for Miami. thought Philly woas really gonna win. But, you can never speak too soon in Miami.

Heat in 4.

Indeed a close game. Seems like Bron had an off night from the field, going Bosh like 4-15.

Much easier win this time around. Philly could still take one at home to make my prediction correct but I don't see it going further than that at this point. Woeful performance by the Sixers' starters in that one though.

Only The Jruth showed up for the Sixers.

Heat fans are lame.

I would slap you for such a comment if you weren't ignorant.

Just to quote Bosh about Joel : "He's awesome."

Fucking Joel, it was about time he showed up in this thread. Erick will be back soon. Not sure it'll be a good idea to work him back into the starting line up right away.

We can do better than mere mention of the name now.

I thought only the NLSC would know. Maybe now more NBA fans will realize the greatness that is Joel Anthony. What we started here in the NLSC is now starting to spread.

Ref at 0:08, bottom right of the vid - he's amused and can't believe the MVP chants. David Stern should fire him for such blatant display of bias against a player.

Joel Anthony ---> G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time)

It's nice to see the Greatness get high praise like that, very well-deserved.

The fans are giving Heat center Joel Anthony love with MVP chants, and his play has been important for Miami. When he steps to the free throw line, the chants get louder and louder. On Monday night, he heard it come from teammate Zydrunas Ilgauskas in the locker room.
“M-V-P! M-V-P!”
When Ilgauskas chanted it as he walked into the locker room following Monday’s game, Anthony let out a big guffaw.
Heat fans have been chanting “MVP” whenever Anthony, LeBron James or Dwyane Wade comes to the free-throw line.
Anthony finished with four points, six rebounds and three blocks.
His presence was felt more than just in the box score.
Now we know who the real Big Three are. RuPaul can suck it.
Z is such a class act for recognizing Greatness!

Bosh must be humiliated.

Holy molly! The Phillies are turning out to be a worthy opponent after all. I thought the series would be over by now... but only 3-0?
