The Live 08 Bugs & Glitches Thread

on live 08 for pc i had 2 games in one day

This is the first time that I'm gonna play nba live 2008 on my new ps3. I've heard some bad things about it. I can't wait though for live 2009.

I just played live 2008 yesterday i noticed that the cpu team doesn't make any substitutions at all reminiscent of nba live 2007. When I had live 2007, I was playing this on my old xbox. I would usually draw a charging foul on a certain player so that he would be sustituted. Is there any way to correct this problem?

In the PC version, we've managed to fix this to a certain extent by lowering fatigue ratings.

Yes, it really does have that many glitches. We've done what we can with unofficial mods but at the end of the day, I'd still recommend 06 and 2005 over 07 and 08, and 07 over 08.

Why 06 ? I saw many videos 06 have more glitches like this .

No, it doesn't. NBA Live 06 on PC has nowhere near the amount of gamebreaking bugs, broken features and completely messed up simulation engine of NBA Live 08.

I am really shocked

It's not really that shocking. Not every new game gets it right and with NBA Live 08 PC, that's certainly the case. We've done what we can though and people still do play it, which is why we still update it.

Yeah like me . But I am playing only matchs . I not played dynasty . Maybe it shows why I am not see many bugs

what is this gamebreaking bugs ? I heard sometimes game crashes . I heard this . I mean not pirate game timeout crash . Some randomly . You want to say this ?

I'm not talking about crashes. I'm talking about problems with the game that ruin the experience and make me not want to play it.

Not that much. NBA Live 06 and NBA Live 08 don't crash that much aside from when there's an issue with a community made patch (or someone is using a pirated copy). NBA Live 07 has a random crash to desktop upon exiting gameplay to go back to the menu and NBA Live 2005 has a crashing issue with custom rosters in Dynasty Mode (unless you re-load the roster before loading the saved Dynasty). Most complaints tend to be about aspects of the game rather than technical difficulties.
