Why NBA Live 08 Bad ?

I'm picking live 08 because of its sigshots and most, 08 has more updates and patchers until now

well in my point I would pick 05 over 06 but if you want your nba live to get more patches I personally pick nba live 08

I generally use only Andrew's roster patches

then use 05 for realistic gameplay because of the 06 bug in the primacy but anyways theres a batch file fix I think.

I think my pc not enough for 2k2011 , one thing you said highlight flaws in 06 . This glitches only happens in some cameras and highlights ? or everything in original game . I am thinking a 06

what pc specs? even if you can play 2k9, it's better then live series ( i'm not 2k or live fanboy)

No, I mean the video was made specifically to show game flaws, so it's not a balanced perspective. There are some flaws you run into with 06 - as with pretty much any video game ever - but there's a lot of good things about the game which the video doesn't talk about.

To give you an example: one could compile a video of Kobe Bryant doing nothing but missing shots, turning the ball over and committing fouls. Such a video would suggest that he's a bad player, but it wouldn't be a fair assessment as it wouldn't show any of the great things he's done and is capable of doing.

Me I play live 08 because of many people to interact and because of the patches that does not even show us the bugs sometimes

I saw really cheap 2k9 . What is bad with 2k9 ? Maybe I don't like it . Because haven't play any 2k games .

you would not be happy with 2k9 no one ever updates that game maybe some but not very much active

Right. I'm already satisfied with the gameplay, graphics etc. with the help of TUP and other patches. So with the horrible simengine, I do not enjoy playing a dynasty anymore because of the unreal simulated stats plus the bugged player rotation workaround screen.

I am generally not playing dynasty (near the never) . Maybe this is the main reason why I am satisfied with 08 ? What do you think about

I guess that would help improve your opinion of the game slightly if you don't care about Dynasty Mode and its associated issues.

If you can run NBA 2K10 without any problems, I'd say you should've gone with NBA 2K11. So long as you're happy with your purchase though, remember if you want to talk about NBA 2K you can do so in our NBA 2K sections.

Nba live 08 is bad for many reasons and has to be the worst nba live on pc. And as Andrew said 06 is the better game and imo the best in the pc series. The only thing that is better about 08 is the go to moves and the sigshots. Every nba live had its flaws but they were able to be fixed through the ai, simengine, sliders or ratings but that is not the case with 08 pc. In 08 pc if you fix one thing then you are likely to encounter another flaw. I've had my share of frustrations of trying to fix 08. Some of the most annoying things about the game is that the players don't sprint back on defense with urgency, the cpu sometimes passes the ball deep up court in situations where the pg should be dribbling the ball up the court, the cpu passing is stupid and the dynasty/season sim stats are far from realsitic. Is that enough to explain why 08 is bad? For some people updated courts, rosters and shoes are not enough to cover up 08's flaws. Nba live 06 has flaws but it does not have nearly as many as 08.
