Fair Trade????

Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:52 pm

So i have a found somewhat of a way to aquire Durant from Ok City however nothing i have offered is being accepted. So i am probably going to have to force it. (i really want Durant) I was just wondering if what i intended to force on them was fair. I really hate taking advantage of the computer and all my other trades went down fair and square so here is the trades that got this done...

Chicago Trades
Jannero Pargo (Min)
Ronnie Brewer (Dal)
Carlos Boozer (Dal)
11 2nd Round (Min)

Minnesota Trades
Lazar Hayward (Dal)

Dallas Trades
Shawn Marion (Min)
Tyson Chandler (Chi)
Brian Cardinal (Min)
11 1st Round (Chi)

This trade was fully accepted without being forced i couldnt believe it actually when i propsed it and it wasn't denied.

So i went ahead with this offer for Durant (and the programmers did a great job casue so far every offer i have made for KD has been deined just like OKC would do for real.)

Chicago Trades

Luol Deng (OKC)
11 1st Round (OKC)
Dal 11 1st Round (OKC)
12 1st Round (OKC)

Ok City Trades
Nate Robinson (MIn)
Kevin Durant (Chi)
11 2nd Round (Chi)

Minnesota Trades
Jannero Pargo (Min)
12 1st Round (OKC)

I thought the first one was pretty fair (odd, seeing as how Min has no need for a SF and Dallas has no need for a PF) but i want to make sure i @ least offered OKC fair market value for Durant if i was gonna force it.

thanks for your input

okc would neva trade k.d. not for dang and some picks and still giving up a second round pick and i doubt min would give up a first round pick for nate robinson to me i dont think that is a fair trade

thats why i havent pulled the trigger on it i was thinking of maybe trying to inclued Beasley in it instead of the pick since Min has Love and no real need for Beasley

So...you want to force a trade for Durant whilst remaining realistic? In what way is that not self-contradictory?

Not neccasarly realistic as much as what would they take if he hadnt signed that extension and wanted out

they wouldnt want just dang only trade i think might work is d rose for durant

That could be possible since OKC 'realistically' since gets 5 1st round picks.

No way that's fair:

Minny wouldn't give up 1st round pick for Nate. Even if they'd include a cookie jar and a hooker.

What could Oklahoma City possibly do with a Lual Freaking Deng and a bunch of 25th-30th picks? For that, the best you can get is Serge Ibaka and some signed OKC jerseys. Hey, let Ronnie Brewer wear Durant's jersey and pretend it's him

Anyway, the only way it would be a fair trade is to throw in Derrick Rose or to play with Oklahoma City in the first place... ;)

Oh, and one more thing... Trade forcing is for nerds!!! (no offense)
