How to add an alpha layer?

i ve seen some tuts about this one , but i can't seem to understand it , is there any video tut or any other tutorial that would help me make it . Also how does an alpha layer helps the cyberface? Thank You!

This one is pretty simple as long as you follow the directions.

you need copy your rgb channel on alpha channel(you must open your cf in dds format).

head doesn't shining, when cf got alpha layer.

alpha layer makes the cf's more shadow.

and removes the shiny effect when is has lighiting

And makes great pasta too.

i can't seem to copy to RGB to the alpha layer , can you help me guyz?

I realise that. What I meant was that the alpha layer tutorial I was linking to is suitable for cyberfaces.

yeah i saw but i still can't understand it XD , can you at least tell me how to copy the rgb channel to the alpha please?

I've never used that method in the conversions that I've done, maybe someone else can give you some advice there.

Now, when you are there, select all copy, click on alpha layer and paste your bhed
You will see red thing on your cf.

Make sure yours cf is "flatten image" and you can save it as dds.

there's a problem i can't do this :S . It may be because i have PS4 portable :S . I may have to download cs2 . OH MAN!
