(1)
Oklahoma City Thunder (57-25) vs (4)
San Antonio Spurs (48-34)Projected Starters: R. Westbrook | T. Sefolosha | K. Durant | J. Green | S. Ibaka | 6th Man - J. Harden
Projected Starters: A. Brooks | M. Ginobili | R. Jefferson | T. Duncan | M. Bonner | 6th Man - G. Hill
The Thunder will now advance to the second round, first ever in their franchise. The two-time league leading scorer of the league and maybe the MVP of this season, Kevin Durant simply outdid the Mavericks. Also All-Star Russell Westbrook, averaged double figures in assists in their series showing his improvement in passing. Next stop, another Texas team, the San Antonio Spurs. Manu Ginobili led his Spurs to eliminate the Nuggets, Ginobili averaged a whooping 11 rebounds per game and seems like Tim Duncan is playing like he is playing way back before, but the problem is, Yao Ming is out with an injury, and Greg Popovich decided to start Matt Bonner instead of the rookie Tiago Splitter. Spurs though will give the young squad a very tight series.
Prediction: Thunder in 7(2)
Los Angeles Lakers (55-27) vs (3)
Golden State Warriors (51-31)Projected Starters: J. Calderon | K. Bryant | R. Artest | P. Gasol | A. Bynum | 6th Man - Lamar Odom
Projected Starters: S. Curry | M. Ellis | D. Wright | D. Lee | M. Camby | 6th Man - R. Williams
Lakers nearly got eliminated by the determined Jazz. They comeback from the series despite once trailing 3-1. X-Factor was Andrew Bynum who's looking very healthy and effective again, the one-two punch also of Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol suffocate the Jazz. The Warriors also comeback from 3-1 series against the Hornets, and yes we must believe to them. Especially free-agent signee David Lee who averaged a double-double, can the Lakers stopped Warriors Playoffs hopes? Or the Warriors may pull an upset to suprise the champions?
Prediction: Lakers in 6
(1)
Boston Celtics (60-22) vs (4)
Milwaukee Bucks (47-35)Projected Starters: R. Rondo | R. Allen | P. Pierce | T. Prince | S. O'Neal | 6th Man - T. McGrady
Projected Starters: D. Augustin | S. Jackson | G. Wallace | B. Diaw | N. Mohammed | 6th Man - G. Henderson
Defending Eastern Conference champions Boston Celtics easily leapfrogged the Amar'e-less Knicks in their first round playoff series. But despite ousting them, they lost one of their main core, Kevin Garnett. And sadly, Garnett maybe will watching the Playoffs in the Celtics' bench once again. But no need to worry Garnett, Celtics will have to face Bobcats who eliminated the Bucks in seven games of their exciting series. Celtics should take this one easily but you cannot let Stephen Jackson to explode, like he did in game 3 where he scored 47 points.
Prediction: Celtics in 5(3)
Miami Heat (53-29) vs (7)
Chicago Bulls (41-41)Projected Starters: M. Chalmers | D. Wade | L. James | C. Bosh | Z. Ilgauskas | 6th Man - U. Haslem
Projected Starters: D. Rose | J. Smith | L. Deng | C. Boozer | J. Noah | 6th Man - T. Gibson
Heat emerged victorious on their series against the Magic, where the series reached seven games. The Big Three averaged at least 20 points per game as they advance to the second round to face the underdog of the Playoffs, the Chicago Bulls, the seventh-seed team finished the Atlanta Hawks in seven games. MVP of the series? Derrick Rose, Rose put on a very impressive performance in their series, where he averaged nearly 26 points per game, he also got help from J.R. Smith, who was known as a team-wrecker, he averaged 21 points per game in the first round, will these underdog Bulls can eliminate the Heat and interrupt their title run?
Prediction: Heat in 7

I think Warriors might upset...Bulls mayyyybbeee...
The rest of the top seeds should win...with Thunder vs Spurs being the toughest series. them losing Yao is a BIG help one your side
u might be able to get away with Ibaka on Duncan and Green on Bonner...since Bonner is really a perimeter player

Five of eight series going to seven games, that's interesting. Good luck against the Spurs

hova-, iirc, Ellis, Curry and Lee is averaging at least 20 points per game. So that Warriors team is definitely something, but they nearly got knocked off by the Hornets, still rooting for them to eliminate the Lakers
George7, The Cinderella Bulls!
Lamrock, Well I can't blame you with that

I'm planning to relocate my team back to Seattle next season, let's see, and you're on this year's draft and maybe you can sneak in to the mid-late first round pick
Thierry •, A really nice first-round overall! With Yao out in Spurs, I think I can cruise past them

Martti., Ignore that, I just don't that have enough time to take a in-game screenshot of Manu and Kevin, will replace that if I got one
Maybe I'll be doing a March Madness to know more about the draft prospects, stay tuned

Brooks stars in Spurs win; to take Game 1

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Controlling Kevin Durant and limiting Russell Westbrook, these are the main goals of the Spurs to outlast the Thunder, and they showed it in game 1, as the Spurs grabbed control of their best-of-seven playoff series with a 96-91 Game 1 win victory over the Thunder.
Aaron Brooks led the way by his 27 points, Richard Jefferson made huge plays in the final minutes as he scored his eight points of his 18 points in the last three minutes of the quarter. Tim Duncan had a double-double for his Spurs, 15 points and 13 rebounds.
For the Thunder, who's making their Conference Semifinals debut, they hardly found good shots because of the Spurs throttling defense. Durant still is the high-man in the game, scoring 34 points, but only shot 12-of-25 in the field. Westbrook chipped in 22 points but he shot a disappointing 9-of-22 as he was hounded by Spurs guard Manu Ginobili, the Argentinian though scored only 13 points.
It was still 93-91 in favor of Spurs when Jefferson drained a clutch three to put the Thunder in slumber with only 25.6 seconds remaining. Jeff Green attempted also a three in the next possesion but failed, he scored 15 points in the night.
Spurs had the rebounding edge at the end of the game, 48-34. They committed more turnovers though than the Thunder did, 14-6.
Game 2 will still be in Oklahoma City Thunder Arena as the Thunder may look to bounce back to even the series.

What a tough second quarter, only 12 points.
And iirc, it's not called the Ford Center anymore. It's called the Oklahoma City Thunder Arena
