Best use of showerfun in recent memory.

Yes, I thought it was rather good myself. I re-read it before posting, knowing that such a polarising term should not be used everyday
Valor wrote:New York still wants Eddy Curry? For five years too?

Virtual Eddy Curry is alright, he shows up to games & does his bit. He got out of the doghouse last season & was the team's starting centre after they traded Turiaf to Hornets in deal for the Itai

My first reaction too. Wow. I hope OKC knows what they're doing with that one

My Association if off rosters from about mid-October I believe and is pre-patch, so I don't know if this affects it at all.
What have your signings looked like? I wouldn't compare to trades though.
I think the Horford deal is fine, considering what the others got paid. Garcia deal is fine too. Yao & Oden deals are solid considering it's a computer game & both will be healthy & capable. Conley is actually turning into a pretty solid PG in my Association.
That being said, I don't like the signing/re-signing amounts for Yi, Hawes or Gee & I don't even know who Mark is.

Sorry this is moving at its usual snail's pace. Not really in mood to do update at moment since quite sore from melanoma and a chunk out of my back taken out yesterday.
Hope all is well with all & make sure to get your skin checked out often

Can't wait for the regular season! Hope to see 3 point guard lineups once you're mathematically eliminated by January.

PIC OF THE DAY
It only took Ricky two games to fall to his first injury. Doing his best Vince Carter impersonation, Rubio strained his lower back and will miss up to a month after shooting an uncontested jumpshot.
Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:30 pm
eh... How the hell can you get injured by shooting an uncontested jumper? Way to go Ricky!

Sit wrote:eh... How the hell can you get injured by shooting an uncontested jumper? Way to go Ricky!
I think he was just shocked to see it go in. Maybe Billups undercut him late, I dunno. It's almost deja vu to Flynn getting injured last season. Exact same injury on baseline shooting a jumper.

True to my word, all five NLSC-ers have 5 o'clock shadows
Aside from that, updates have been slim & will continue to be slim. These long work days are killing me atm & will continue for another 6 weeks at least. Such is life. Ahh well, I did get a chance to play my first game of 2k in about 3 months so I was happy about that. Who knows, might get to play another one this long Easter weekend if I'm not doing some work.
Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:42 pm
I'm betting you will be working as will I.

Sit wrote:I'm betting you will be working as will I.

Likely, although I'd like to think I'll get to play a game or so
Get stitches out on Thursday so might reward myself but catching up on work around the house
Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:57 pm
Yes, maybe you should play one game

I will be recovering from my Thursday night exam by writing a stupid paper due next Tuesday and back to work on Wednesday. Ahhhhhh
And reason I have not responded re: your mole is that it makes me cringe to think of stitches and surgery and the like lol but gl

Glad to see this back, and Lambros in action. Sucks about Rubio, but I guess your offseason moves prepared for this/
Wed Apr 20, 2011 9:45 am
At least you're on .500
How's Svensson doing?
Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:22 am
Tough luck for Rubio, injuring without any contact
Wed Apr 20, 2011 9:17 pm
Thierry, Svensson has to find his feet, as does Bradley.
To everybody else, the Rubio injury is a blessing in disguise as I get the chance to get more of a look at my two rookie point guards. I'll use time to evaluate since one to two point guards will eventually be dealt.
Sat Apr 23, 2011 5:17 pm
Hey X, are you recovering alright? Sorry to hear life has been so busy
