It's not like there's gonna be a Nexus-Corre match anytime soon, since they're booth as heelish as can be.

Awesome counter! These are the guys they need to push, it's a shame there's people like Randy Orton running to management and getting them buried the moment they make a mistake.

I'd say at this point, the Nexus/Corre stuff has been bungled the same way WCW ultimately killed the nWo, albeit with a much shorter lifespan and without the big names. The angle took a couple of wrong turned, missed a couple of opportunities and is now past its shelf life.

That's one way of looking at it. However, it may well be planting the seed for at least one more match for The Rock, contrary to his previous comments about being done as an in-ring worker.

So we've already seen the one thing they'd actually been building for Mania?

I think I'll spend my money on this instead. It's cheaper and less likely to utterly suck.

i do like it though. it's a very interesting dynamic. despite the rock looking slightly heelish before the attack with cena as the "stand up guy" (face behavior), this has all the potential in the world to unintentionally turn cena heel. it's like stone cold vs the ultra babyface of the company bret hart. people just started cheering for stone cold so they had no choice to turn him face. there will always be kids rooting for cena, so he might be like a half heel or something.

and andrew i read that since he's been back, the rock has changed his tune a bit on his stance about not wrestling. he's gone from "not ever again" a year ago to i'd like to maybe someday or something along those lines. i could definitely see him wanting to get back into the action. it would be tough for someone who loves the business and who's physically able to do it stand and watch on the sidelines

If the Rock is what it takes for a Cena heel turn, so be it. Vince needs to make it happen.

I love how the crowd cheered before Rock delivered the People's Elbow.

I still don't think they should end The Streak, I think Taker's earned the right to retire with it intact. If they do end it though, I don't think it should be before he retires, I'm not sure HHH should be the one and it definitely would cheapen the whole thing if there's a dirty finish. It wouldn't surprise me greatly if HBK does get involved but I still think Taker will end up going over.

If anyone is interested, The Real Story of Wrestlemania is streaming on Netflix and was pretty damn good. A lot longer than I anticipated but it was really good.

Just ordered the ROH iPPV. Might download 'Mania just because I can, and I'll probably buy the DVD later on, but I'm not going to bother ordering it this year.

I think Ill be sticking with recaps this year. Interested in what might happen, but nothing I need to "see" really.
