questions for nba live 08

1) if you are using an off ball player (player lock), can you set a pick for the computer? i know you can for nba live 05 but i cant seem to get it to work for 08.

2) how can you reorder your roster in dynasty mode?

3) when a new roster patch comes out, is there any way to import my "created player"?

4) when i sim games in dynasty (i have tup 11 installed), how come dwight howard gets like 10+ assists every game?

1. It's been a long time since I spent a lot of time playing NBA Live 08 PC but I have a feeling that was taken out. Player Lock wasn't even available by default in NBA Live 08, so suffice to say it's pretty broken.

2. Use this workaround for the best results; it replaces the Inactive List screen with the more familiar and easier to use Reorder Roster screen.

3. Quicker and easier if you just add them again.

4. Short answer, the sim engine in NBA Live 08 is broken. You can try this fix; yesky did a pretty good job with it but don't expect perfection.

I thought I would just post under this thread, since it's relevant.

Does anyone know how to completely diminish Uniform Shine in NBA Live 07 and NBA Live 08? I managed to accomplish this by reducing the "UniformSpecular" value to "0" in NBA Live 06; however, I don't seem to be able to alter the uniform shine in any way for NBA Live 07 or 08.

Any input is much appreciated, thank you!

my game crashes when im about to resign players in my dynasty (in the offseason. just completed year 1). it didnt happen in my previous dynasty. the only difference is i used the dynastyagefix and seasonfix. (from tup 11 saves). also i only have 8 players in my roster (2 of them with expiring contracts).

Did you use the Dynasty Safe version of the roster? For any further issues with the TUP 11 rosters, please consult/post in the TUP 11 thread.

oh i used the agefix and dynastysafe from an old save. i didnt use the one from tup update 1. time to start a new dynasty
