Strange program problem

I searched for this and couldn't find any answer. My NBA 08 isn't crashing per se, but I only seem to be able to open the program once. If I play the game after my laptop is booted, exit to do something else, then try to play again, the program won't start. No crashing, no blue screen of death, the program just doesn't start. Now when it runs, it runs fine on my laptop, it's just a mystery to me. Has this happened to anyone else?

That's happening normally in Win7 and Vista.. Sometimes it cannot open the game right? I have encountered that also in my laptop you should reboot your laptop again
