A new roster update is out, accurate as of February 17th 2011 including updated All-Star and Rookie Challenge teams. No updated All-Star art as yet, I'll include those updates in future releases as soon as they're made available to me.

Andrew is there a way i can mass edit the sig shots in db commander?

I don't think so. What exactly do you want to do?

i want edit more than one players sig shot number at once is that possible?

Not through DB Commander, no. You could use a batch file and CDBFLite to make some mass changes based on values, eg all players with a primary position of 0 (ie centres) have X signature shot.

i always get this error when installing roster only.

Is that Vista or Windows 7? Also, do you have NBA Live 08 installed to a folder other than the default on C drive?

its windows 7. my nba directory is c://program files/ea sports/nba live 08 is it correct?

C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm is the default, yes. Come to think of it the roster only version doesn't use that folder though, only the saves folder under Documents. I'm not sure why it isn't being detected though, I'll see what I can do.

maybe you can upload the folder for the saves. so i can copy and paste it.

Sure, I'll upload it in a little while. I would like to work out a more permanent solution though so I don't have to keep doing that.

As I mentioned when I released v3.9 on the weekend, I'd have another update out after the deadline; probably this coming weekend at the earliest. No point releasing a new update until the deadline has passed, so that any trades that occur can be included. Can't help you out as far as the shoes are concerned, sorry.

And I will, in the next release which will be v4.0. The update that was released at the weekend was an All-Star update and since it preceded any trade being made official, it obviously could not include it.

please do fix the roster only patch.

after a couple of try..i erased by nbalive 08 and try v3.8..but no luck..
so i decided to install tup11 and it perfectly works... i have a question..can i use the version 3.9 in the tup mode? or what files will i dlod so that i would able to play your latest release???? thanks in advance!!!! more power sir ANDREW..

The roster only version is intended to be used with other art packs, that would be the one to download if you've got TUP 11 installed.

I'll probably just re-enable selection of the installation folder for the roster only version, something I forgot about in v3.9, but if I do post a test version before then I'd certainly welcome that help in testing it out.

thats what i am thinking of, you miss the selection folder.

In the past that hasn't been a problem with the roster only version, most people have had issues with the sgsm folder not being detected rather than the Documents folder. Looks like I have to make some adjustments for Windows 7 users; easy enough to do.

sir andrew, what about updating the fiba in NBA Live 08 in your nlsc update?
since all the arts are available thru tup11??
