I am asking if nba 2k11 will play fine and smooth on a laptop

if you have steam and want to make sure before you buy it, there is a NBA 2K9 Demo on there so you can test to see how the games run on your laptop, the computer requirements are pretty much identical.

I think the best thing for you would be to get a new laptop. I bought my Asus gaming laptop for around $900 and it works AMAZING with NBA 2k11. You can probably play it but maybe on the lowest setting, MAYBE medium.

If you want to play, most important is up your RAM and get a better video card.
