What is weird about Rose scoring 20 points? Were they too little? If so that was because of foul troubles. He had 4 in the 1st half,so I couldn't play him at all at the 3rd and the early minutes of the 4th.
yea i'm used to ur rose going for like 30 almost every night haha
20 with foul trouble is still and elite performance though
when i faced rose in my association...he had like 4 points in the 1Q...but then finished the game with like 30+ or something
and i think Iverson always demands an extension haha

Golden State Warriors(11-12) @ Chicago Bulls (22-4)
Warriors-Bulls notebook
Review|Preview|Head to Head|
THE FACTS:Allen Iverson scored a season high 33 points paired with 5 assists and 2 steals, leading the Chicago Bulls to a comfortable win over the Golden State Warriors in Chicago. Derrick Rose had 17 points , 12 assists and 8 rebounds, being 2 rebounds away from his first triple double of his career. Rose had a bad night though, shooting poorly and being fouled out as well.
On the other hand Monta Ellis was the most dangerous player for the Warriors. Ellis scored 21 points and had 3 steals as well.
THE STAT: The Bulls(23-4) shot 57% from the field today, but this is not a rare thing. Bulls are the leading team in scoring % and the only team in the league making more than their half shot attempts, currently at 55,5%
TURNING POINT: After the Warriors cut of the lead to 2 points in the end of the 3rd quarter, the Bulls got a 19-6 run in the 4th,with Allen Iverson and Derrick Rose leading the way,and putting the nail in the coffin of the Golden State Warriors.
HOT: Who else, Allen Iverson. "The Answer" was literally the answer for the Bulls on this match, being 15-18 from the field, with 3-4 behind the 3-point line.
NOT: Derrick Rose. Not that 17 points are not much, but scoring 4 points in the 1st half, shooting 2-10 and finishing with 8/10 is not a great performance. The same can be said for Warriors backcourt triplete-Ellis,Williams,Curry-,who combined for 43 points, but with 16 of 49 shooting!
GOOD MOVE:Getting the ball to Allen Iverson. Iverson was shot and Bulls' coach Tom Thibodeau knew that well. Allen Iverson got the heavy load of the scoring, and he did really well.
BAD MOVE: Sticking to the same style of play is not particularly a bad decision. But Keith Smart should have anticipated that a change of playing style was needed in the 4th quarter. The run n' gun offense wasn't helping at all,as Warriors were on a terrible shooting night, and Bulls took favor of the open court, resulting in the total domination on the 4th quarter.
QUOTABLE: "This was a great night for me. For a second straight match I was hot and it reflected on the final outcome. As I said after the game in Memphis last year,I'm really happy in Chicago.I fit in the rotation, I play better and better every time and I'm really happy on how the organisation is treating me so far. As I stated last week I'm open to talk for a contract extension"
--Allen Iverson on his stay at the Bulls
QUOTABLE II:"We're really satisfied to see that the team has a variety on offense and defense. I really liked what I saw from Allen [Iverson] and concerning the negotiation talks,as long as we're happy with him,I'm sure the possibilities of signing A.I. for next year are high."
--Bulls Gm,George Koukoulis,on Allen Iverson.

Steve Nash traded to the Knicks;Last chance to pursuit a ring?
By ESPN,January 13
NEW YORK, NY - The New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns had agreed on a trade that is going to shake up the whole league. Just two days with the back-to-back games with the Eastern Conference leaders,Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks had announced that a trade involving Steve Nash has been finalised. The former MVP will travel to the New York and team-up with his former teammate Amar'e Stoudemire and his former coach Mike D'Antoni. On the other hand, Raymond Felton, who declared unhappy in New York a week ago and requested a trade, will go to the Phoenix Suns along with Forward Kelena Azubuike and a 2nd Round Draft Pick from the 2011 NBA Draft.
Trade Analysis
New York Knicks: This is a great move for the New York Knicks from every perspective. Steve Nash is a big upgrade from Felton, who was not playing with joy and not giving out the maximum of his abilities in the last weeks. Steve Nash is going to get to a new enviroment, but he's not expected to find any difficulties in integrating to the new enviroment. And the reasons are two and have names.Amar'e Stoudamire and Mike D'Antoni. Nash has a great relationship with both of them and of course everyone remembers the team that was based in those two players the previous years, and managed to get to the Western Conference finals in 2005,2006 and 2010 playoffs ,failing to get to the NBA Finals though. Trading Azabuike isn't a terrible loss, as they also have Danillo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler, who can equally fit to the starting role. Now all have high expectations from the Knicks, who are in the 6th seed in the East.
Steve Nash is expected to play on the next game of the Knicks, which will be in January 15 in the United Center, against the Chicago Bulls.
New York Knicks Grade:A-
Phoenix Suns:Rebuild, rebuild, rebuild. That is what Steve Kerr should have thought when he pulled the trigger and made that trade. And he did really well according to our opinion. He may have traded away a former MVP ,one of the best playmakers in the league and the base of the current team,Steve Nash, but what Phoenix got ,is not a consolidation prize. Raymond Felton is a PG with great shooting and playmaking abilities and a lot of potential, while Kelena Azubuike is not a player you won't count. A really nice shooter, who can also play defense. And they also get a draft pick, who can be usefull in both getting a player from a trade,or securing a talent from the upcoming draft class.
Phoenix Suns Grade:B+

Knicks-Bulls notebook
Review|Preview|Head to Head|
THE FACTS: With a leader-like performance from Derrick Rose, scoring 27 points and dishing 13 assists, the Chicago Bulls crashed the New York Knicks by almost 20 points. Luol Deng and Kyle Korver were having hot hands behind the 3 point line and scored 17 and 13 points respectively.Joakim Noah with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 blocks, had his first double digit game after a long time.
The New York Knicks were led by an injured Wilson Chandler.Playing with an inflamed elbow,he scored 21 points and added 3 rebounds and 3 assists. His great performance was followed by a great game from Amar'e Stoudemire who scored 19 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.Turiaf had 14 points and 10 rebounds, while new-comer Steve Nash, had a solid 10 point-10 assist game on his debut as a Knick.
THE STAT:The Bulls outnumbered the Knicks in blocks (11-2) and steals (11-5). The great defensive work was a key to the dominating win.
TURNING POINT:With the Knicks up by 5 in the start of the 2nd quarter, Chicago Bulls went on a 19-6 run, outscoring the Knicks 25-10 in the quarter and establishing strong foundations for the blowout win against the Knicks, who didn't came closer than 9 points.
HOT:Derrick Rose. After a bad shooting on the two previous games,Rose was on a great night against New York.He was 11-16 from the field, with 1-2 from deep.
NOT: Roger Mason. Starting at the shooting guard spot, the 29-year old out of Virginia(who was drafted by the Bulls),scored only 5 points ,with 2-11 shooting.
QUOTABLE: "He was amazing. On the beginning I thought he just had a strong start, but Derrick is consistent and he is the bond for this Bulls' team.We are all happy to play with him and he is clearly satisfied from the team, judging by his game."
--Bulls' center Joakim Noah for Derrick Rose.
QUOTABLE II: "It was just our first game together. We're going to get better in the next game.I'm still learing their game and they're still trying to learn mine.I hope we're going to be strong in the Garden and beat the Bulls."
--Steve Nash
