Rookies:
Eric Bledsoe
DeMarcus Cousins
Derrick Favors
Landry Fields
Blake Griffin
Wesley Johnson
Greg Monroe
Gary Neal
John Wall
Sophomores:
DeJuan Blair
DeMar DeRozan
Stephen Curry
Tyreke Evans
Taj Gibson
Jrue Holiday
Serge Ibaka
Brandon Jennings
Wesley Matthews
That's all pretty reasonable. Carmelo Anthony and Amare are the assistant coaches for the Sophomores and Rookies, respectively

In rookies there is no surprise, but in the sophomores i wasn't expecting Taj Gibson to be in. Right now i don't know if there is somebody missing in the soph. Maybe Gallinari?

This is Gallo's third year in the NBA.
I don't think Taj's selection is surprising at all. He deserves it. He's a decent player.

Potential future teammates will be assistant coaches on this team.
Fields for MVP!

Rookies > Sopho
Other than Stephen Curry and Tyreke Evans, I don't see stars. Maybe Jennings but he'll always be inefficient.

Glad to see Wesley Matthews on the sophomore team.

I really hope Jennings gets back in fashion after the injury

No surprises there. I'll pick Griffin to take home MVP honours, assuming he doesn't get selected for the All-Star Game as well and they decide to let him off the hook for the Rookie Challenge.

Landry Fields for MVP. Hard workers always win it

Jennings for MVP.

Wow, this is going to be competitive this year, Blake and Wall for the rookies. Imagine the assists that Wall will receive, passing the ball the Griffin. Larry Fields and Gary Neal are going to be great scorers in this game. Is Jennings going to be healthy to participate?
Cury, Gibson, DeRozan and Blair are going to play well in this one. I don't think Ibaka is going to be able to stop Griffin, that'll be an interesting match up. And so will Curry vs Wall.

Larry Fields
Who the fuck is Larry Fields ?
Imagine the assists that Wall will receive
He will not receive but give them up.
Cury
Who is Cury ?

Same here.
Somehow I see Fields taking the MVP honors this year.

I'll be watching Griffin very closely. I have a feeling that everybody will be setting him up for a lot of dunks and alley-oops.
Thu Feb 03, 2011 4:05 pm
With him in the dunk contest, and probably the ASG, don't be surprised if Griffin sits this one out a la Rose.
Thu Feb 03, 2011 5:17 pm
It certainly is a lot on Griffin's schedule, for the most part I think he'll be alright though.

He missed an entire season last year. He's not immune to injuries. I'd rather have him rested, not have him 3 days in a row participating each and every events. Besides, he's known as a real workholic. Rest would be good.
