I believe it should be for the most part. If you want to use it with the TUP 11 art, just download the Roster Only version.

There are a lot of similar features, a current roster update is a current roster update after all. That said, TUP adds more teams including additional FIBA teams and has some other features, the readme for TUP 11 and the HQ thread should give you a good rundown of that. But as far as updating the game for the 2010/2011 season, the rosters are obviously similar in that respect.

There was an issue with the Detroit Pistons court patch included in the initial release of v3.8 of the roster update. Download this fix to remove the problematic files from your sgsm folder; a fixed version of the roster with those files already removed has also been uploaded.

why dose it jump up when i use dynast of celtics vs pacers?
Or should I just re-install Live 08 and then apply your roster v3.8 + TUP Arts and stuffs?

I previously have the tup11 installed , I downloaded the full package of this nba live 08 update, and just as i thought, when i load the roster the shoes are not correct not just like in the tup11 roster, Is there a way to fix the shoes of every players because it really ruins the realistic gameplay.

You don't need to have v3.7 installed to install v3.8. I'd recommend a fresh installation and either the full package or the roster only version with the TUP 11 art.

Yes, I imagine it would take you a little while.

Here are a couple of fixes for v3.8 of the rosters. I've also re-uploaded fixed versions so if you download them from now on, everything should be fine.

i manually edited hayward's surname using DB commnader. Does your fix also fix the speechid? I mean saying "Haywood" in game? Thanks!

No, but there's no Hayward in the speech files so it's the closest we've got.

Nope.

i installed the full package in tup11.because i can't install the roster file only. it asking for a destination. but the selection of destination doesnt include in steps. how can i bring back the changes made by the patch?

The installation routine should detect the appropriate folder automatically. By default, that's C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm. If it doesn't detect the correct folder, you'll need to select that folder manually.

Sorry, I'm not going to type up a list of the thousands of files included in the patch. Reinstall the game fresh if you want to go back to using TUP 11.
