Re: 1992/1993 . THE RETURN - some more Teams, almost done :

Wed Jan 19, 2011 9:57 am

This will be very tough in the West.

Lakers
Rockets
Jazz
Trailblazers
Spurs
Sonics

really tough to say who will be 7 and 8, but i agree the Mavs lineup looks a lot better now.

Wait, since there are no Bobcats in 1992/93, who's making up the roster? Free agents?

When i started this i had two options.

1st > doing only low rated players in the Grizzlies, Raptors, Bobcats teams and ignore them in recaps stats, etc...

2nd > make a kind of expansion draft and just take those teams and deal with them

Well, i decided to make a kind of expansion draft. This is fictional anyway and i include those teams to this story. I tried to give the teams some decent players no superstars, some young talents. Those teams dont have the chance to win a title yet, but they can compete and they dont loose like every game.

In example the Bobcats line up in 91/92:

John Salley
Michael Cage
Chuck Person
Dell Curry
Jon Paxson

In 1992 they got a lucky Pick drafting Alonzo Mouring. This makes this team very interesting to me and maybe they can compete in a few years.

Thats the way i deal with those teams, they just belong to this league.

If someone is interested here are the 1991/92 Rosters (live06) 1991/92 Rosters

This is what the 1992 NLSC Draft looks like:

From my side i want to close the 1992 Draft Class now, so i can kick off the new season.

All new applications are sent to the 1993 Draft Class. ...maybe i ll do an exception if someone really wants to be in 92 already.

Some infos for the NLSC draftees:

> the Draft section (still workin on it) NLSC Draft Section

> NLSC users will be able to demand a TRADE one time a season. If you dont like your team and think they are all knuckleheads i try to do something for you

> i am going to run some competition, i think 1 competition each NBA month or something like that. A kind of prediction , this will be very hard for you
In theese competition you can earn some points for your Player.

> non drafted, i.e. users from the 93 draft class can also compete and collect some points to increase their Draft depths

> i also think about giving you some points for every Highlight scene you show when you play against the Bulls

Why ... THE RETURN?

You may already noticed i am not a big poet so i keep it short...

The 1991/92 season was a big letdown for the Bulls. They started the season as the acting Champion in 1991. But early they had to recognize that it will be much tougher to defend the title than most spectators thought. So it was no surprise that they could made the number 1 seed in the East just in time 1 Game ahead to the Pacers.

The 1992 Playoffs were a big desaster for the Chicago Bulls. They defeaded the Bucks in a 4 game series with 3:1, but the Bucks were not an opponent at all. The Bulls recognized that when they faced the "Bad Boys" from Detroit in the Conference Semifinals. In a tough series Chicago lost with 2:3, Isiah Thomas was the man of the series averaging more than 30 points and 5 assists a game.

Michael Jordan accepted later, that he wasnt in that shape he was in 1991. But he also added that he will be back and show the whole league that the Bulls can win the Title once again after 1991 and the huge desaster of 1992.

In what shape Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls present this year will be revealed already in the begining of the new season. The first opponents for the Bulls is a gathering of former Playoff teams. This is what the schedule looks like:

Oct 27th @ SEA

Oct 30th vs DET

Nov 1st vs POR (NLSC Ogg in)

Nov 4th vs NY (NLSC Baylor in)

Nov 5th @ BOS

If the lakers don't use me or have me as their 3rd stringer in the rotation, i might demand a trade to the cavs or some place.

Re: 1992/1993 writing a new history - what do you think?

Fri Jan 21, 2011 8:29 pm

.

As this Dynasty now runs on 2K11 association mode i considered to move it to the association section.

Personally i dont mind in which section this runs, i just want to have fun with it and share with some people.

Some people asked if this should now run in the 2k section.

I would prefer to keep it in here because it got its origins in good old live 06 :applaud:

This would be a very tough decision for me... because i would have to make a new topic or split this one.

So i am aksing; what do you think?

best regards and thank you for answering.

Re: 1992/1993 Question to the Future of this Dynasty please

Fri Jan 21, 2011 11:58 pm

Here. There are too few dynasties in this section. We need as many as we can get. :P

We will see, 40 points as a rookie against the Bulls, well Steve Smith did that last season.

Bad news for the Suns;

i can already tell Isaac Austin got injured, but this means more playtime for Zee Otoo i think.

I think you will get your time to play, but you are wright you have lots of competition as this is a great team maybe the best this year in the West.

October 27th 1992 Game 1

Promising start for Chicago...

The Chicago Bulls started the new season with a solid victory over the Seattle Supersonics on the road in Seattle. The Sonics already had to struggle in the first quarter when they lost their Guard Tyrone Campbell after an air collusion between Campbell and Grant.

Robert Horry who gave his debut in the NBA made a very reliable game. He scored 17points 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Horry who put across Brian Williams as a starter for the Bulls during the Summer Circuits hitted some crucial shots from medium range and also a threepointer.

Jordan Triple Double

It was the promised revenge the Bulls took tonight against the Detroit Pistons. Michael Jordan showed all his skills scoring a impressive Triple Double against the Pistons. This game from Jordan was one of the best we saw since last year, looks like he is going to make his promises true and bring the title back to Chicago.

The game was all open until the beginning of the second half. Then the Bulls started a run scoring 37:16 points in 4th quarter. Isiah Thomas who played out the Bulls in the 92 Playoffs almost on his own remained colorless in this game. The only player to mention on the Pistons side is Bill Laimbeer, he dominated the boards grabbing unbelievable 26 rebounds.

* Bill Laimbeer 26 rebounds, a new Dynasty record.

Two blowouts against some pretty tough teams. It seem to me as well Horry has taken a very important role while Grant's has diminished.

Have been gone past couple days, but nice couple of wins. Revenge against the Pistons! Nice to see my player staying in his home state and playing with the Sacramento Kings. My favorite team of the past!

Yes, Horry hits those jumpers and he also crushed the boards against Detroit. Grant couldnt come up with his past "almost All Star" season, but i think he will still improve.

This revenge was really needed another defeat in Chicago would have been horrible for me.

Like those Kings, Richmond is scoring almost 30 points after the first 3 Games.
