'93 conference finals. Bulls vs Knicks
I thought for the first time that the Knicks had the Bulls number. They had homecourt for the first time. they went up 2-0. Bulls evened it up. Game 5 in Madison Square Garden. Aka the Charles Smith blocked party. Personally one of my fav games of all time

some other notable ones recently:

2008 Conf. Semis. Spurs vs Hornets. the matchup of Parker vs Paul was awesome

2006 Conf. Semis. Mavs vs Spurs. A series fit to crown a NBA champ. excellent clutch play by both sides, especially Jason Terry

and for the greybeards... '88 Conf. Semis. Hawks vs Celtics. Growing up i hated the Celts. that crappy parquet floor. Dennis Johnson's face. they were so friggin good. Probably remembered most for the Wilkins vs Bird in game 7

Shame on me for omitting that. Atlanta had a chance to win in 6, but couldn't put Boston away.

I certainly wouldn't call it the best series but to be honest I don't hate it as a lot of people do. If nothing else, I enjoyed the fact it was two first time NBA Finalists squaring off for the championship, something that hadn't happened since before I was born.

Bulls/Celtics from 2009 was a great series, again I wouldn't call it the best but it was one of the more exciting series in some time with all the overtimes, clutch shots, going to seven games and of course the underdog aspect with the Bulls.

Amongst the other memorable series mentioned, I'd also rate Bulls/Jazz in the 1997 Finals and Knicks/Pistons in the first round in 1984.
