When Jennings gets in the league, he will take the league by storm!

Your buddy Ray has always put up great numbers. Too bad he hasn't been around to redeem his character points.

Jennings will be good. Seasoned pro compared to college kids. I don't think he'd land in Phoenix but who knows. :P

Lightning Strike wrote:Jason Kidd is 40 years old and he's still a top 5 point guard in the league... Amazing.

It seems like I've missed a lot, because a top 14 point guard list with TJ Ford but no Derrick Rose smells like fishy business to me. :P

Looks like he's not a popular choice as a top 5 point guard though :P

And TJ Ford has always been great in Memphis since ALIB II. Derrick Rose is pretty average in this story - much to the dislike of Valor.

puttincomputers wrote:Devin Harris is light years ahead of Kidd. Kidd is no better than 15th at best. Jao Wu Do!

Devin Harris and the Lolcats have never made it to the playoffs... maybe once. His stats are good because he is on a bad team. He's talented but definitely not a real leader or winner. ;)

To land Jennings, we'dm have to finish in the lottery, probably top 3 pick i assume. I'm still looking for that first playoff game.

Well, I will have to give you a spoiler. Judging from a month of games, your team does not look likely to score a top 3 pick. ;)

But no Jennings :P

But you have B Diddy and Barbosa. (Y) haha

Plus J Rich and Leo Cassell. Nice backcourt rotation. All of them a double digit scorers. And you have a good big man tandem in Robin Lopez and Kevin Love actually. Pretty decent team

Not that I find him a controversial pick, more that I'm amazed that a 40 year old can still hang in the top 5 PG's in the NBA, especially in a position which seems to reward supreme athleticism as of late.

The Stealth were rolling towards an NBA Finals and possible championship before Kidd fell to injury. The Stealth crashed out of the playoffs with lack of direction from the most important position on the floor.

The coach was dumb enough not to play Jao Wu.

Kidd is too high on the list, but the top 10 PG's are all quite close. Glad D-Rose is absent. (Y)

Kidd is way to high up the list. I am suprised CP3 has been able to keep his place on the top of the list for so long.

Definitely. Top 5 might be a little overrated (according to some in here) but he is definitely top 10. I think John Stockton would have been top 10 in his last NBA season. Why did I rank him top 5? Because he is the starting point guard on the best team in the NBA and he still brings it every night. His statistics during the playoffs were just really really good as he stepped it up another level - he nearly averaged a triple double against the Warriors.

Jao Wu came on for stretches but was largely ineffective. If he was playing well, he would have earned more minutes.

D-Rose is still a nobody in this story. ;)

Thierry • wrote:Nice to see Nixon, Steele, Lliach there (Y)

- Nixon is a perennial sixth man of the year candidate. Even from off the bench, he would have been a top 10 point guard. Much better than Bayless :)
- Steele is one of my favorite generics. If he had more team success with the Nets, I'd rank him a lot higher.
- Lliach is just a beast. (Y)

megarover wrote:I am suprised CP3 has been able to keep his place on the top of the list for so long.

CP3 is always an MVP candidate and the Hornets are always near the top of the standings despite his supporting cast being so poorly rated. Before Mark Moore came aboard, the Jazz had 3-4 players who were better than the Hornets' second best player. With that said, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Donnell Lawrence are all rated better than Mark Moore. Moore is better than the Jazz starting SF Sidney Hooper but Sidney Hooper is still better than the Hornets' third best player - David West. And then you compare both the Jazz and Hornets and New Orleans have always been consistently winning.

Houndy wrote:Where's Zolio?

All he does is hand out assists. :P If he was still in Philly I'd include him for sure but he's been signed by Boston and figured it'd be a waste of a space since he is definitely going to have a poor year - individually and as a team.

And might as well post this here to make more people aware :( Looks like basketball is off for a while... this is the basketball stadium me and The X play at.

I'm actually quite amazed the water is so high up here. I didn't think it would be possible. The water must be nearly 2 meters high. To give you an idea of how bad this is, 2 of the 4 courts are probably flooding if they did not put up sandbags against the doors and louvers before the staff left the stadium unattended.
