I still hope they never end The Streak. As big of a rub it could be to an up-and-coming talent, I think Taker's earned the right to retire with The Streak intact. Simply having Barrett work with Taker at Wrestlemania and having a competitive match would be a huge rub in itself though and seeing as how Taker was written out of the storylines it certainly would make sense.

Did they ever reveal why Nexus attacked the Undertaker during his match with Kane? Maybe the reason they can use to set up Barrett vs Taker at WM although Barrett is not part of Nexus anymore.

I agree that the streak should not be ended seeing other big WWE superstars weren't able to end it.

I think it was pretty much just Nexus throwing their weight around, nothing more to it than that.

It wasn't. They hinted at there being some deeper reason, and Otunga was threatening to reveal that reason when Barrett was considering kicking him out of Nexus.

Really? Well then, let's see if they remember that if/when they set that up for Wrestlemania.

Meanwhile, in TNA: TNA Negotiating With Angelina Pivarnick From MTV's "Jersey Shore"

TMZ is reporting that TNA Wrestling is in negotiations with Angelina Pivarnick from MTV's "Jersey Shore" to work for the company. According to their report, Pivarnick is interested in working a pay-per-view match for the company. Officials from TNA would like to do a program between her and Cookie.

Jwoww from "Jersey Shore" did an angle with Cookie back in October.

Because, you know, it went over so well before.

Yeah, let's pay another "celebrity" more than our champion makes in a year for a one-shot appearance. Also, let's pick a "celebrity" from a show that airs at the same time as ours, thus ensuring this stunt results in no added viewers. TNA! TNA!

I think it's safe to say I'm the only person on the planet who remembers the details of the Nexus angle at this point.

Corrected. Half the page was in spoiler tags not that long ago, now none of it is. Some sort of middle ground would be nice (though anyone watching Genesis probably isn't reading this thread, I'll grant, but one does never know).

Is his non-compete up yet?

Just read on WNW that he made his debut. Somehow, I think Vince McMahon and the WWE will survive that blow.

Mr Anderson is the new champ, Hardy made him fight right after his #1 contendership match (reverse money in the bank tactic?) and ended up losing to Super Anderson.(2 twist of hates, and a chair shot from Bischoff, near fall)
Opinions are my own.

Guess Hardy's off to jail then...seriously debating whether or not to bother with iMPACT! this Saturday.

Anyone else find themselves actually pulling for Ziggler by the time the #1 Contender match was going on on SmackDown? Dunno that they're going for a face turn, though. Be interesting to see if Long doesn't strip him of his number one contender status due to his never actually being in that match, too. None of those four should be number one contender.

[crowd pops]

I just recieve an email from the anonymous RAW General Manager...

And I quote.

I will cut this short. Mandich, you have gone too far. Tonight, you'll be facing shadowgrin in an Extreme Rules match. The winner will become the number one contender and will face the World Heavyweight Champion... LEAN!!!

In a bras and panties match!

I think Ziggler's push is imminent. I think he's a great performer too as seen in almost all of his matches from the past year, sans that against Kane.

:hump: [promo]OH HELL YEAH! I warn those who are after my title: those bras and panties are so authentic they are fragile! You don't know what you're facing. I am much more vicious while wearing bras and panties as wrestling pads! It raises up my vigor that no one of you will be able to stand seeing me wearing them. So I warn you: you'd rather have your Extreme Rules match end in a draw or feel my wrath![/promo]

I wouldn't mind a push, but he shouldn't be getting a title shot without a bit more build. Especially straight after losing two straight matches to Kofi Kingston.

Ziggler should definitely be moving up to the main event, I've been a fan of his for quite some time now. He's awesome in the ring and good on the mic. The only thing I don't like about him is his name, but I guess that's not gonna change over night.

The Anderson/Hardy match was pretty ridiculous. Even though I'm not a fan of Jeff by any means, his finishing moves were made to look like shit.

Fair enough though, there was no way they were going to put off inducting him and no real reason to as it does seem he's sticking to his guns and leaving his in-ring career behind.

The only way that could've been better is if it were Miz on the receiving end, but I guess you can't bury your champ like that so an up-and-coming midcarder who they can easily keep building will have to do.
