Dunno how sim engine will treat that!
Anyways, its a little cramped but I can still sorta read it!
I hope that not too many edits in college game need to be done... maybe make all the NLSCers and a few of the bigger name prospects.
Yep, you drew a very hard first round matchup and it doesn't get any easier if you somehow make it out of the first round.
I listed teams 1 through to 65 in order so didn't know who you were matched up with until I had your team in the brackets.
As for bracket, I'll try to have it more visible next season.
Thanks for the tip, I might just stick to name changes for draft prospects & only rating changes for big name ones. I do need to do some minor edits of former powerhouses from back in 2008 (Georgetown is one of them) so they don't run the table even though they're a 7 or 8 seed in this story. Should be much easier next season just simming through a few seasons of legacy then using that to determine all of this

Yeah, name changes are probably the best way... And editing down the powerhouses that arent powerhouses anymore. And greg oden too

Quick X tell me what your wife pick

So are going to pick all match ups in the first round? That's quite a lot.

Yes, you pick all the matchups in the first round and PM to X so noone can have the same picks.

Oden was in College Hoops 2k7, not 2k8. And besides, rather than real names, I just reset rosters and randomly generated new names

If you want to, I can get her to make picks (since she wanted to for some reason anyways) & they can work as yours. I will only let you choose this option. But there is no guarantee she will win. She wins based on gut instinct picks IRL, so don't know how she would go with College Hoops 2k8 picking. It's up to you, let me know. Still another day or two for you to decide. You won't know her picks until after I post recaps of a round though.

Didn't even think of that, an advantage of using PM's.
So far I got picks from Axel. & Sit. Yes, it's a lot of games to pick, but it will get shorter & shorter each round

ATTENTION ALL!!!
Due to lack of interest, I'm altering prediction game. I guess people tire of prediction games when everybody does them, so I'll tone it down to make it only games of interest each round.
Axel. & Sit, you don't need to re-send picks as I already have them in your original picks.
GAMES OF INTEREST IN ROUND 1
(4)Oregon State vs (13)George Mason
Chuck Smith versus CAA champion and former Final Four Cinderella.
(6)Stanford vs (11)Nebraska
Can senior Mo Bosh's fairytale end to his collegiate career continue for another game?
(7)Georgetown vs (10)Saint Mary's
The might and power of the Hoyas against William Witt and the Gaels.
(8)Washington vs (9)Gonzaga
Freshman sensation Lambros Washburn tries to beat in-state rivals, Gonzaga.
Get your picks to me by PM within next day.

I keep forgetting everybody doesn't share my love of March Madness, the greatest sporting month of the year
But like any good Association (not saying mine is good, Sit's is), you've got to be willing to adapt a little to suit the audience.

Give me points for all the ones I guess correctly in addition to games of interest?

You put Beasley number 1 over Jay Gray, so no

Brackets are now set (in College Hoops 2k8), first round voting will be locked as soon as I post first recap, which will be sometime in next three or four hours.

You often give people no points in yours for being enthusiastic

2011 MARCH MADNESS - NCAA TOURNAMENT15 March 2011UA-LR START TOURNAMENT OFF WITH A BANG IN PLAY-IN GAMEThe NCAA Tournament got off to an exciting start, with the (16)University of Arkansas-Little Rock winning an epic 68-64 overtime game over Jackson State. The university, that has alumni that include NBA veteran Derek Fisher, used 24 points from senior guard Adrian Francis to edge out the SWAC champion Tigers. The reward for their win is an early morning flight from Dayton to Washington D.C. and a match-up with the number one overall seed North Carolina Tarheels on the 17th.

I love March Madness, me and my buddies have been doing brackets since we were in 8th grade. We all basically live in different states and we still have our own betting bracket group. It's always so exciting to watch. In other news...Fuckin Seahawks!

Patience is a virtue. I do reward people, I just don't like them asking for rewards
Sun Jan 09, 2011 7:07 pm
OK.

I hope the update is soon... i wanna see Chuck and Wilt advance!
Sun Jan 09, 2011 7:22 pm
No update tonight, back to work in the morning. Will try to do some prep though and get some sort of update up tomorrow.
Do you guys want to see a pic for each of the four feature games or just text? The latter will be relatively quicker.
Sun Jan 09, 2011 7:27 pm
I don't need pictures to be satisfied. I'm always down for a block of letters.
Sun Jan 09, 2011 7:28 pm
text ftw
Sun Jan 09, 2011 7:32 pm
Cool, saves me the worry of going back & taking any on the digital camera.
I'll pull out a few for Final Four though, given its relative importance
