As for updates, I haven't been doing that many. A few small All-Star updates along with the trimester updates that I had mostly written on Word a week before I posted them. Anyways, I'm going to head, try & play another game or two. With 2k servers screwing up, may as well try to advance the season I guess I'm just going to try & be a little bit smarter with my updates. They will dry up a little yes, but without having to do Darko ones, I can concentrate on the ones that ppl prefer.

As for my current prediction of who will make the Finals in this multi-verse, not sure. Heat are looking superb, they're really gelling. They have to be favourites to win the East narrowly over Celtics. In the West the Lakers are still favourites & seem to be surviving without Gasol. Thunder will challenge them & don't be surprised if Fisher's Nuggets end up knocking them out of the playoffs. Life has a funny way of working out like that at times

Or Fish misses a shot on purpose to send his Lakers back to the Finals.

I thought Bynum was unlucky not to be an All-Star, especially in host city LA. You have to give Lakers 2 All-Stars as they have best record in league. Instead they gave it to Kaman, I guess so Clips could have representation. Kaman's numbers (22 & 9 I think) are admittedly superior but on a crappy team.

GAELS OUTLAST RIVAL GONZAGA, BOOK TICKET TO BIG DANCE

(2)Saint Mary's 5'8" sophomore guard William Witt played much bigger than his size, delivering a career high 37 points, as the Gaels upset rivals, (1)Gonzaga 82-78 in an overtime classic in the WCC Tournament Title Game in Las Vegas. The win seals an automatic bid to the Big Dance for Witt and his teammates. The Zags will likely still make the Tournament but will now have to sweat it out on Selection Sunday.

After averaging 22 points and 4 assists per game, WCC Conference Tournament MVP 21 year old Witt was heard later that night whilst walking The Strip screaming "my team baby!"

As I said before, 2011 class is locked & loaded & no changes will be made to it. 2012 class may have an opening or two. If you wish, you can PM me your basic details (real life name, height, position, strengths, weaknesses, looks, hometown, fav college team/players which I may or may not use). Since I have creative license & it's multi-verse, who knows what happens. Only thing that is locked in is the dodgy 5 o'clock shadows for NLSC-ers

To clarify for everybody, the guys who are in for 2011 class are essentially the Foundation Class: two guys I play with IRL bball (Sit & Dragon) so I know their games. Mark is from Ash Vegas, which is close to my home town. He even played my high school in bball (albeit a few years after I left though). He's followed my Assoications since day dot. I added Lamrock a little bit after that since he's been such an enthusiastic follower for it seems all of my Dynasties/Associations. None of these guys asked or maybe even wanted to be in (well I know Sit would have ), I just ran with an idea, created them all one day.

Anyways, enough on that topic. I plan to keep this one rolling for a long while so classes will become irrelevant.

Yep, lottery should be interesting. At the moment I'm in line for number 5 pick. This is going to be a super deep draft, so I'm hoping I find a player who can help & develop into an All-Star. Now that patch is out, all future draft classes aren't as strong. I'm generated 2012 already (have to do it out of Association due to patch & in-progress Associations) & it's looking like a weak one indeed. All going well, I won't need lottery picks in future

REDHAWKS ADVANCE TO MAC TOURNAMENT FINALS

Senior forward Benjamin "Dragon" Dragic put in a superb defensive effort, finishing with 12 rebounds and 5 blocks to go along with 16 points as the (3)Miami of Ohio RedHawks defeated last year's tournament champion and (2)Ohio Bobcats 68-61.

(3)Miami of Ohio will face the (1)Akron Zips, who are coming off a convincing 75-58 win over (4) Kent State.


NEBRASKA CAUSES ANOTHER UPSET, MOVES ONTO BIG 12 TITLE GAME TO PLAY IOWA STATE

(7)Nebraska has caused another boilover in Kansas City, as they knocked over (3)Kansas State 71-65 to move onto the Big 12 Title Game. Needing to win 4 games in 4 days to secure an unlikely automatic bid and their first ever Big 12 title, the Cornhuskers moved one step closer, winning for the third straight day, only one day after upsetting (2)Kansas in the quarter finals.

The fairytale continues for at least one more day for redshirt senior Mo Bosh, who celebrated his 24th birthday with 22 points and 5 assists. Even a solid 15 point, 9 rebound effort from Kansas State centre Rudolph Schultz wasn't enough to stop the upstart Cornhuskers.

In a day of upsets, (4)Iowa State finally played up to their potential as they beat (1)Baylor in the other semi 69-61. The Cyclones got strong performances out of senior forward Calbert Andrew (17 points, 8 rebounds) and junior point guard Dorell Keefe (13 points, 4 assists). Baylor Bears' Big 12 All-Conference Player of the Year Richie Strickland (20 points) didn't get enough support from his teammates as the team endured a rough shooting night.


BATTLE OF THE BIG DOGS – BRUINS AND BEAVERS TO MEET IN PAC-10 FINAL

(1)UCLA dismissed (4)Washington 73-61 in the first of the two PAC-10 semi finals. The Bruins had a set gameplan in mind as they swamped and trapped promising freshman point guard Lambros Washburn (11 points, 3 assists, 5 turnovers) all game long, causing him to make some uncharacteristic mistakes and never let the Huskies get into their offense. At times, the Bruins put PAC-10 Player of the Year Perry Buchanan (23 points) on Washburn, with his length and considerable wingspan causing problems for the young Huskie.

The (1)UCLA Bruins will face (3)Oregon State in the PAC-10 Tournament Final after the Beavers disposed of (6)Arizona 78-69, extinguishing any hopes that the Wildcats had of making the NCAA Tournament. The Beavers were led by junior guards Malcolm Hoffman (17 points), Chuck Smith (15 points) and freshman combo guard Melvin Hale (11 points).


NOVA BEAT DOWN HUSKIES, TO MEET SURPRISING BLUE DEMONS IN BIG EAST TITLE GAME

(1)Villanova continued their strong play as they led from start to finish, putting away junior guard Herbert Evans (15 points) and (4)Connecticut 82-68 to move onto the Big East Title Game.

Meanwhile (11)DePaul continued their improbable run to the Big East Title Game, beating (3)Louisville 79-75 to advance to face (1)Villanova for the Big East title. DePaul sophomore guard Leslie Berry was in dynamic form once again, scoring 27 points, as the Blue Demons held off a late challenge from the Cardinals and their senior forward Stevie Nash (16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals) to book a spot in the final.

Whilst they have played strongly the last few days, (11)DePaul will need to beat (1)Villanova and earn the automatic bid if they want to be dancing in the Tournament.
