Yeah, could be a possible storyline. H "being tired" of the Nexus even if the stable didn't really cost him anything before he took his time off.
Fri Dec 31, 2010 12:32 am
maybe they'll attack JoMo and once his push fails Cena should be back
...wait, who is Orton feuding with right now? it could be time for Punk to get his revenge with Nexus on Orton for that punt all those years ago.
oh and Awesome Kong has signed with the WWE
divas just got a bit more interesting to me

Don't be silly. Nobody on the writing staff remembers that, and
nobody in the audience will either.

oh I know, Edge and Christian were just grade school friends a few months ago and not brothers like in the attitude era but it would be nice

This is the first time i am in this forum.I never really looked at the other threads.
I use to be a major wrestling fan.The last wresting i saw was the Wrestlemania 2 or 3 yrs ago.I just got fed up with how even more retarted it was getting. My sister got me a 3 disc dvd set titled"Top 50 Superstars of All Time"this christmas. It brought back memories but it also really pissed me off.Read below for the reason's why.
#19-Edge
#16-John Cena
#11-Eddie Guerrero
#9-Rey Mysterio
#1-Shawn Michaels
Now what really pissed me off was Ric Flair was tied at #17 with Dusty Rhodes and at #23..................................Hulk Hogan.WTF!!!!
The current roster(actually at the time of the taping)of the WWE voted on these people. They don't know shit.
I am glad to say that i have worked for Shawn Michaels when he had his own wrestling organization(Texas Wrestling Alliance)and i think Shawn Michaels should be in the top 5 but not number 1.
I am making it a priority of mine to watch WWE again starting with the first Raw of this coming year.I need a little man-drama in my life.HaHa.

Flair and Hogan are in TNA, they weren't ever going to get all that high.
Can someone please tell me why Miz gets to keep his Money in the Bank briefcase?
Sat Jan 01, 2011 12:19 am
they switched it from the MITB to a regular briefcase. he's been doing a lot of appearances for the WWE on talk shows and crap and he keeps the belt in there.

Miz

While I do admire Miz's mic skills, he still does not seem to look like a legit ring performer.
Sat Jan 01, 2011 11:27 am
He's OK on the mic but I still don't much care for his catchphrase. It almost sounds like a parody of catchphrases in wrestling and I don't think it's supposed to be.
Another favourite moment from 2010:

So they have. He was still carrying around the MITB case prior to TLC, though, which is all I'd watched when I made my previous post. Still looks utterly pointless being carried to the ring though.

A-Ri's lunch box?

agreed, if he retrieved the belt while on stage it would be one thing but then why would A-Ri be carrying the belt?

I'm not going to bother linking to Viewers Are Goldfish again, but Punk, the first man ever assaulted by Nexus...joins Nexus?
Sun Jan 02, 2011 2:31 am
....i didnt even remember that
Sun Jan 02, 2011 2:33 am
nom nom nom nom nom
*burp*

Well, it was technically Gallows, but Punk wasn't far behind:
Sun Jan 02, 2011 8:20 am
And then a Barrett-Punk feud once Barrett returns.
Sun Jan 02, 2011 9:13 am
I suppose if you wanted to Hand Wave it away, you could say that the majority of Nexus have no will of their own for the most part or were being led astray by Barrett. Punk, believing he should be followed and desperate for new followers, recognises that and with Barrett out of the picture, swoops in and takes control of the faction.
Still a bit flimsy, but at least it would be an explanation.
Sun Jan 02, 2011 10:01 am
i wonder if they will setup a heel vs heel stable match, Punk's Nexus vs Wade's (comprised of the kicked out members)
Sun Jan 02, 2011 10:21 am
That'd be a bit too much like the nWo, when they started running the angle into the ground. That's not to say it can't or won't happen, though.
Sun Jan 02, 2011 3:44 pm
So Barrett injured right? Haven't followed WWE lately.
Sun Jan 02, 2011 4:11 pm
No he wasn't injured. He was burried by Superman at TLC.
Sun Jan 02, 2011 6:36 pm
...which isn't necessarily a bad thing for a blow-off match in which the face gets their revenge.
Sun Jan 02, 2011 7:49 pm
Except for the bit where Cena makes sure to put a protective platform over him, thus preventing any actual harm being done.
