Nba live 08 doesnt work ;(

I tried to upgrade my nba live 08 to nba tup 11. Finally when I put those files in to the right folders (I guess) I clicked "RUN NBA LIVE08) My laptop screen went black I had a boner I was like a child in a candy store. Then all the sudden " NBA live08 crashed, do you want to report microsoft about it" WHATTA FU*K?!?! Someone here who is smarter than me please! TELL ME where to put Folder updates (part1) and (part2). I took the files out from those folders.. Nba live08 ---> Database ----> origDB. But according to folder updates there should be 2 different folders. Does anyone else have the same problem?? Kidjustin help? Andrew help???

maybe copy the contents of the folder (not the folder).
and after installing a FRESH clean NBA live 08, try to play it for a minute and save the default roster and start patching slowly just to make sure you're doing the right thing.
