That was huge. I reckon that's making the top ten at the end of the year, I'd have to put it on my list.

Sick, but it will go on my list if it's a one-hander and it's on Tony Parker. Carmelo Anthony was like "yeah, that's great and all but I will still take my talents to Madison Square Garden"

The rim hang was just gravy.

I've got my three of my top ten lists for the season already. That and two from Griffin (teabagging of Mozgov and that dunk coming from a spin).

I was just thinking today, should we make a new thread devoted to Blake Griffin?

No need, really. If anyone felt inclined to discuss Blake Griffin at length - speculate on his future, discuss his game to game performance, post video highlights and whatever - then they're welcome to do so but as far as just posting videos of his dunks, this thread or the original video thread should suffice.

He's deceptively explosive. By watching him he doesn't look athletic and before you know it, boom, teabag. Reminds me of a young Tim Duncan.

i don't see how the spin move dunk was #4 and how on earth #2 could ever beat that.
plus they completely ignored his two handed reverse dunk a la Nique and a bunch of alley oop dunks unless they all came after the video was made.

and i was sitting 5 rows back but on the other side of the court and that dunk happened so fast i didnt even notice his feet until i saw the replay. he had another sick alley oop in the 2nd half on my side of the court too.

this thread makes me glad i live in la and get all his games on tv. makes me feel bad when i don't watch because i think of how many awesome dunks i miss out on

I had a feeling the one over Mozgov would be number one. I still prefer the spin move dunk myself, I'd agree it should've at least been at #2. The video was posted November 30th, which is why a few other worthy dunks didn't make the cut.

DeAndre Jordan threw down a sick alleyoop last night too. #2 on SC Top 10 but nowhere on YouTube or NBA Top 10

They've got to get him in the dunk contest this year. Admittedly there's a difference between awesome dunks during a game and a showcase environment like the dunk contest - as Shannon Brown proved last year - but there's a chance he can make us forget all about last year's disappointing event.

i am really tempted to list a new updated top 10, but i'm afraid it will become obsolete in a week.

It wouldn't surprise me if he accounts for half the top ten dunks of the year by the end of the season. That one by J.R. Smith is surely going to make the cut though.

Only explanation I could think of right now for Griffin beasting it with those nasty dunks is because that he's pissed. He is playing for the Clippers.

It's amazing how he could get up so high he could literally look down into the rim yet it looks as if he's not even trying. Monster hop.
