How to Decompress a File?

well ive been using the mod tool and for some reason whenever i try to edit an untouched file it says "File is Compress, decompress it now?" i click yes but it gives me an error. Now for modded .iff files like global.iff, and f0##.iff it just opens up cause i dled it off from our patchers, so anyway to fix this?

what files are you trying to decompress? some dont work properly with the mod tool and need to be decompressed with the decompressor included with the 2k9 iff editor (google it)

sorry for late reply but basically court files and jersey, i used the iff editor but have no idea how to decompress. i opened up a random f###.iff file but nothing showed up

Try to used cyber face converter for nba 2k11 or 2k10 it has function that can uncompress any iff files.

yeah it gives me an error....im so unlucky
