Hit the bullseye didn't I?
Sun Dec 12, 2010 1:27 pm
Pretty much, yeah.
Despite the problems with my threads that all of you already know, wouldn't call it an "obsession", just more of a hobby (not constantly killing stories, but sharing them with you people).
Sun Dec 12, 2010 2:04 pm
Guess I misused 'obsession' referring to you and that guy who loves his Tron costume. My bad.
Props for that Daft Punk vid btw.

No way.

No doubt, yesterday goes my "the best days of my life" list.
Tue Dec 21, 2010 9:49 am
Who leaves 200 dollars on the street?
Tue Dec 21, 2010 9:52 am
No one would "leave" 200 dollars on the street. Maybe the guy had his wallet half open or the 200 dollars on his pocket and they fell.

I won runner up prize a month back in 2k11 competition in Australia. Had to describe my fav MJ moment in 25 words or less. Picked up a copy of NBA 2k11 & a t-shirt. Since I already own 2k11 on PS3, I got it on 360 & traded to my brother-in-law towards credit to an Eastbay order.
Also tomorrow is last day at work for the year

Lol, I do get out, but finding, not 10, not 20, not even 50, 200 bucks on the street? That has to be on your "Best Of" list.

IT'S FINALLY WINTER BREAK!!!
kind of bummed I can't even play b-ball, cause I sprained my ankle playing. Can't do much else either. Damn.

bumping the good news thread, you depressing people... put up some old PS2 games i never play (even when my ps3 that plays ps2 games was still working) and the current bids on ebay total up to $53. not bad for 3 PS2 games and 1 ps3 game. that's almost a new game right there.
Tue Feb 15, 2011 9:50 pm
That's not too shabby, a far better deal than you'd liking get trading them in anywhere. How long left in the auction?
Tue Feb 15, 2011 10:34 pm
I got 1 day left, and apparently if i sold them at a used game store in hollywood, i would've received $52 minus the $20+ it would've cost me in gas to drive to Hollywood, so it worked out for me in the end. Hopefully I get a few more bucks out of it before the end by those people that like to bid at the last second. in case you were wondering, I'm selling:
Yakuza
Yakuza 2
Capcom vs. SNK 2
Yakuza 3 (PS3)
and apparently they are kind of rare, but not impossible to find (like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was like before) so they did manage to retain quite a bit of value for ps2 games.
Tue Feb 15, 2011 10:37 pm
Sounds like you made the right call, hopefully there'll be a few late bidders and a few extra bucks.

I was told I'd be "promoted" into a senior designer. Hope it gets pushed through.

You might have jinxed yourself by announcing it here prematurely. You have no one to blame but yourself if it doesn't happen.
Wed Feb 16, 2011 6:47 am
Oh crap, of course.

Things are subject to change as always.

3 hours left in my ebay auctions and i'm up to $65 total which leaves about $50 profit... pretty stoked about that.
EDIT: so the deed is done and when i logged in, the final tally was over $100

that leaves just over $80-84 profit
i started to jump around and

Good stuff.

Having traded games in and sold others on eBay in the past, I reckon I'll continue to try my luck on eBay nine times out of ten.
