Hate to bump this thread but have a legit question.
Rather than the Oden/Durant What If...is there some feasibility to a Durant/Curry What If?
Discuss.

No, it isn't. After several years, we could see him with a ring.

I'm still hoping that his career will blossom (maybe after 2 years). 9 inch! WTH?
Thu Dec 30, 2010 1:11 am
yeah after 2 1st round picks blossom quickly, then you wouldn't notice Oden anymore.
Just look at the picks after his draft class, Rose, Love, Mayo, Evans, Griffin, Wall, Westbrook, Gordon and the list goes on and on.
He already been left behind, he might even struggle to get a new contract due to his troublesome knee

What if the cleveland cavaliers would have drafted Kobe Bryant and never gave him away like charlotte did, because cleveland had a chance to draft Kobe instead, they drafted two big men that year.

The Hornets traded him in a pre-arranged deal with the Lakers, as the Lakers were not confident he'd last until their pick. Kobe was also pretty adamant about who he did and didn't want to play for, so it probably wouldn't have been feasible for Cleveland to take him with the 12th pick anyway.
But let's say it worked out that way; I'd say a few seasons in the 45-50 win range, followed by Kobe's departure via free agency by 2000/2001. Possibly no rings for Shaq and the Lakers, definitely none for the Cavs.

What if Ron Artest stayed in Houston?

The Celtics would probably be the defending champs.
