Antoine Walker making a comeback attempt

He's joining the Idaho Stampede of the D-League, pending the standard background check.

According to ESPN.com’s Marc Stein, Walker will sign with the Idaho Stampede in the D-League provided he passes a standard background check. And seeing as how the Stampede are affiliated with the Nuggets and Blazers, just think of the possibilities.

Will need to catch a Stampede game on Versus some time.

With that huge debts he was having, it's at least nice to see him attempt a comeback. The D-League will have a new record for 3s!

Last night in celebration of Antoine Walker getting somehow re-associated with the NBA, i played a random game and tried to put up as many open 3pters as i can, I did probably 22 and maybe made half.

The Stampede should count themselves lucky, rarely does an NBDL team get the chance to add a former NBA champion. [/sarcasm]

I saw him make a layup then I turned it off last night. he's in better shape than I thought though
