as far as stadiums/CF's/jerseys...i've made custom ones

i want pacquiao in a shooting guard position..because he is a slasher..ahahah

Like I said, it comes down to the faces that are made available to me.

Pacquiao is about 5'6, he's too small to be a shooting guard.

I can recall the sound effects from Live 2004.Really nice sounds,clearly feeling more arcadish.

Yeah they fit the Jam atmosphere nicely. I would've liked to have used the sound files from 2003 but they don't work with 2004-08, so 2004's were the next best choice.

I'm currently splitting time between this and the NLSC roster updates, with an eye to getting both out as soon as possible. For now, I thought I'd offer up a small preview of something I whipped up today though after spending some time with the Xbox 360 version of NBA Jam: a few more special characters, the Stickmen!

Obviously it's not quite the same, but as we're not going to have that many special characters for v1.0 aside from the NBA Legends, I thought it might be fun to include them.

I think making their headshape into a bit rounded will make it closer to the real thing

I can't make custom headshapes, if someone else wants to give that a shot feel free but otherwise I think the basic idea is there.

I should also mention that I'll be adding some rookies to v1.0 after all, though the 30 NBA teams will still make use of 10-man rosters. I'll just be replacing a few players currently in the active rosters as necessary.

can we add jabbawockeez with mask on them so its easy to make CF..??

I guess we could, if someone made the appropriate cyberface. Probably not my first choice for bonus characters though.

I'm pleased to announce that this will be out soon. I've basically finished the 08 version and just need to polish it up and make the conversions for 2005 through 07 and it'll be out. I've played a few games with the finished rosters and I think everyone will like the results. Obviously we can't completely ape the gameplay of NBA Jam but in my opinion it plays a really fun game of arcade-style basketball and the custom court, ball and arcade sound effects really work for the atmosphere.
