Just wanted to ask, can you guys give me a specific directions on how to do duncan's bank shot?

Another one if you don't mind. Why can't i make a hook shot with players like KG?

Actually, i'm having a lot of trouble with the go-to moves and signature moves.

I can't seem to be able to make bryant's one at all (a fluke here and there), i'm having truoble with duncan's one too, but I can do nash's one everytime. I'm sure the problem is just under my nose, but i can't figure it out.

I'm playing in a skybox camera angle and the default one at the 1 V 1.

(I'm playing on the PC, with a keyboard, by the way).

wit tha keyboard, it will be very harder to play with. it juz takes practice to master tha gtm and sig moves wit ur favorite player. duncan u have to be at 45 degree angle back down and press shoot button. for kobe u need to back down or if tha defender is tight guarding press tha shoot button while fading away.

Thanks man, but when i'm leaning on a man with Kobe, he rarely does his signatue move. He's taking a weird shot instead.

Can you give me detailed directions on how to do it:

Can it be done anywhere on the pitch?
Should i keep holding the back down button while doing it?
Where should i lean toward?

I can't do Kobe's gtm like in that video. I back down and do fade away jumper but he is doing a hot spot shot, not a gtm.
( NO slow motion replay is entering like Arenas' stepback jumper - hope you understand)
He is doing a gtm when I do this but he turns around left to right. But in this video he is doing it reversely and this one is correct. And I just want to it.
Could anyone help me?? I'm so mad about that.



I'm usin' Modifly's EA 1.5 and Kris' Gameplay. Maybe this cause my problem.
What would you say? Does only default game have that GTM?

That's from the Xbox 360 version of the game. Go To Moves are handled a bit differently in the PC version.

Thanks, my Admin. That's already the biggest mistake what EA does everytime. They gave far more importance to console versions. Though, PC users are much more than console users. They must give more importance to PC versions. If any new NBA Live comes to PC. (Amen)

Hopefully, it'll be returning to the PC this year with a port from the Xbox 360 version, though I'm still awaiting confirmation on that. Fingers crossed for now.

I dont think the PC version of Live 08 have Own the Paint, Quickstrike Ballhandling or HotSpots, atleast not the proper Hotspots.
In the PC, you cannot bring up HotSpots in-games, only from the menu and that stinks.
Quickstrike, if it is even here in the PC, is implemented poorly and my players are actually a little sluggish and several times refuse to backdown/dribble even while pressing the appropriate buttons. Own the Paint is simply non-existent. As usual, PC gamers have been short-changed.

nah hotspots are in the pc version i use space bar(crossover) and it shows it a very handy tool especially later on in dynasty with players your not familiar with.

wat is the meaning of the differnt colors of the hot-spots?
i think it has blue, red, and transparent. what are that for?

transparent-dead areas

Hello does anyone have the link of the Alby's Complete Realistic Patch for NBA Live 08 (PC version)? there's a link in the NBA rosters folder but it is not already available. If you have kindly upload and please notify me. I am a user of NBA live series in more than 5 years and oftentimes making patch to my NBA live games, but this patch (ALBY's) is one of the best patch because it simulate (atleast) the NBA 2k9 graphics and the go to moves...please upload if you have cause my brother deleted my game and i want to restore it...

I've got a problem concerning editing GOTOMOVE. I've got a created player and I assigned Michael Jordan's gotomove value in DBFeditor (players.dbf) to my player, but it simply won't work Jordan can do these moves and my custom player can't. Why? Am I missing something here?
Everything else, such as sigshot, freethrow routine, works but not this.

Trying copying Jordan's VALIDSSTAR and SUPERSTAR values as well.
