I went to dl the new roster patch and it sent me another web-site. When i dl'ed the patch from that site, and then tried to umcompress it, my computer says that there is nothing within the file that i dl'ed. What is it that I am diong wrong?

This question is covered by the Downloads FAQ, but no harm in posting it again.

When I try to open a file I downloaded in WinZip, I get an error message saying that the file is not a valid Zip Archive. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

This means that the file was not correctly transferred from our Web Site to your PC. Try downloading the file again.

andrew, this is crazy, the stupid site isn't letting me dl'ed the program at all, and it is becoming very frustrating, i sat here for 20 minuts just hitting, dl'ed, erease, dl'ed, erase, dl'ed, ......get the point. isn't there any other way for me to get this patch!!!!! please help!!! ill do anything

I'm sorry, but I do not send patches via email. A valid archive can be downloaded from FilePlanet. I'm sorry that you having problems - you might want to try temporarily disabling any firewalls/virus scanners you have in place. These can sometimes interfere with downloads. Make sure you enable them as soon as you've downloaded the file.

I should also mention that if you download a corrupt file, generally the same problem occurs if you try to download it again straight away as the bad archive is still in your cache.
