Forgot to say Darko is really a classy player, a true role model

VIDEO THAT SHOWS PROOF

TRANSLATION :

darko speaks : this 3 sh*t hole referees, this 3 p*ssys have robbed us (repeats for some time ) I'll f*ck their mother, and their daughter if i have to (repeats a couple of times)

you can really tell his vocabulary is big and his IQ is unmatchable

He could actually still lead my team in scoring given that Corey Brewer leads team with about 13ppg

wow man that really sucks . . .hope darko racks up 30 shots per game

nope, he'll have to get his 20 on 15 shots. Beasley & Love get the most shots.

I'd want to see a Darko triple double. Even if it's 10-10-10. I think that would be gold!

I think I'm going to have to start the Darko Challenges. I'm happy to listen to challenges, but I want them to be realistic, especially given that he's rated so shitehouse in the game, like 57 or 58 overall, gives Sean Marks a run for his money.

But yes, I will accept the 10-10-10 objective & report back.

Darko Challenges

#1: 10-10-10
#2: Grab 15 rebounds
#3: Have at least 5 blocks
#4: 5-5-5-5-5
#5: Score 20 points in a half
#6: Score 50 points in a game

I think that's a substantial and challenging list. :)

I think your last one is ridiculous. Name how many 7 footers have scored 50 points in the last 20 years. I know David Robinson had 70 or 71 points once.

I'm going to allow you two of your challenges & open up floor to the others. I think 15 rebounds in a game is pretty easy, as is 5 blocks. They are bound to happen at same point between now & end of season depending on how many minutes he plays.

I'm probably going to try to have 5 Darko challenges & see how many I complete. I am also going to try & get a 20-20 with Love (since 30-30) is ridiculous & a 40pt night with Beas sometime this season.

I could probably find a ton more (don't worry guys, I'd prefer to dig them up at a later time myself), but that should keep you all Kahn-ed out for a little while

Shaquille? What bout KG (I have a feeling it's something under 50 for KG)... Tim Duncan?

I guess the point is... not many.

Anyways, I would check but my internet is so freaking slow. All I can do is check hotmail and visit the forums.

Yes (61), no (47) & yes (53).

Not surprised by first two but thought Duncan hadn't broken 50 since he's so unselfish.

To answer my question:
Admiral 71, 52 & 50
Shaq 61 & 50
Dirk 53 (OT) & 51
Hakeem 52 (OT) & 51

I have excluded Duncan since he is listed at 6'11"

So yes, a very exclusive HOF list there, hence why I balked at the challenge

Limit Darko's match-up to less than 10 points. Do it to teams that have star big men.
Finish the game playing more than 30 minutes with 2 more blocks, 6 or more rebounds without getting called for a single foul.

Agree with Sit's suggestion of get 5 blocks in a game.

I wouldn't mind if those became a regular part of your story. Like having one video posted for some of the selected game summaries.

A couple of good suggestions in there.

Okay, since everybody (2 people counts for everybody in this thread  ) want 5 blocks, you've got it.

I'm going to add a simple double-double since the closest he's come is 12-8 in the last game. May as well get one easy one to start.

Once I'm accumulated the list, I'll put it in the T-wolves Den on page 2 & the list can stay & I will mark off as I complete. I will try to get 10 challenges. Limit 3 challenges per person if they pass my look & smell test.

So far we've got (in order of difficulty):

1. Double Double Equals Win - 10+ points, 10+ rebounds in a winning effort (nominated by The X)
2. Darko's Holding a Block Party - 5 blocks (nominated by Sit, seconded by shadowGrinch)
3. No Harm, No Foul - 30+ minutes, 6+ rebounds, 2+ blocks, 0 fouls (nominated by shadowGrinch)
4. Darko the Impenetrable - hold an opposing team's star centre (Dwight Howard, Yao - anybody else qualify as a star) to less than 10 points (nominated by shadowGrinch)
5. All for Nothing: Back-to-back 20 point games in losing efforts (nominated by The X)
7. Triple Double Machine: 10-10-10 game (nominated by Sit)
9. All Around Brilliance: 5-5-5-5-5 game (nominated by Sit)
10. The Perfect Storm - score 23+ points, 16+ rebounds, 5+ assists, 6+ blocks, 2+ steals, 2 or less turnovers, 55.5%+ FG%, 100.0% FT with at least 2 taken in 40 or less minutes (nominated by The X)

The last two were inspired by real life Darko feats :P Heck at this rate list might be top 20. Suggestions for others include grudges against Pistons, Lebron (Darko should've been number 1 etc

Due to the fact I sim half my games, I will still count these towards clearing the goals. I need a Darko Challenges banner from somebody please  Maybe call it the Gospel of Darko or something like that.

The "all for nothing" is golden :D Definitely a very cool idea.

I think the hardest to achieve will be "No Harm, No Foul", "All Around Brilliance" and "The Perfect Storm".

lol at the Darko Challenge names. Jordan Challenge what?

The grudge games is a good idea, not the LeBron one though. iirc most people guessed then that it was either Melo or Carmelo at number 1 when draft came.
Grudge games against Detroit and Charlotte (Larry Brown). You can even add Orlando and Memphis to that. Win with a margin of 10 or more points against those teams.

Looks like there is a bit of interest in Darko, everybody's favourite Serbian. I've thought of another possibility. "Serbs pwn ftw!!!" in which Darko must beat Milwaukee & outplay Bogut (Croatian blooded) statistically.

Houndy wrote:Darko the All-Star; get Darko into to the ASG next year

I'm not really looking for personal accolades for Darko, just something individual game challenges for rest of season. What I don't achieve I'll carry over. Just because my team stinks this year, doesn't mean I will throw it all away next season to turn Darko into an All-Star. I'm going to try to do the challenges without being a cheese muncher. Will look to him more than usual, but Beasley & Love will still get more touches/shots.
