Come to think of it, if you look at my old Phoenix Suns franchise, New Jersey actually offered me Courtney Lee for Robin Lopez!
Beast in the East wrote:Does Desanga Diop deserve to start
a)yes
b)no
c)they need to trade for a centre before the deadline
The correct answers are A, B, C, and an answer choice you haven't put on there:
1. Desagana Diop is decent in video games. 2. In real life he's crap. 3. You probably should trade for a center anyway, even if you're starting Diop. 4. I think you should think about Boris Diaw playing the C.
Here's something you should consider:
Play Boris Diaw at Center, Gerald Wallace at PF, Stephen Jackson at SF, Pavlovic since he's playing well- put him at SG, and Devin Harris at Point Guard.

^Isn't that a small front-court?

So? Small Front Courts are quicker.
Sat Nov 13, 2010 12:38 pm
I know. I dunno. It's hard to get a rebound. Maybe, it's just me.
Sat Nov 13, 2010 4:37 pm
That idea actually isnt that bad Harris is 6"2 and Jackson and Wallace are 6"8 so unless im playing teams like Orlando, Houston and Boston it would work out well.
Against the Heat i started with Sasha at small forward as the cavs used him to guard Kobe/Wade when he was with the Cavs. Worked out well. But then Lebron ran over the top of me in the last qtr :/ Plus Wallace has like 94 rebound. Sad how bad the Bobcats front court is in real life that he has had the most rebounds since Okafor left.

With the 3rd worst record in the west and rumors of head coach Lionel Collins close to being fired a W was going to be harder than many people predicted as the Grizzlies jumped out to a 11 point lead at the first break Rudy Gay proving his worth with 15. Harris and Wallace continued to show clutch performances in the 2nd as the home team trailed at the half. Gerald Henderson proved he belongs far from the D League with 9 unanswered points including a 3 point play that even had Memphis fans out of their seats. Role players continued to answer the call with Matt Carroll hitting a 3 point shot in the 4th to put the Bobcats in front for the first time. Stephen Jackson finally showed up scoring 7 points and Sasha Pavlovic hit a 3 late giving the Bobcats a 5 point cushion and a victory.

Tied with a .514 win record the Bobcats played the last of their home stand against Chicago. The Bulls started the game with an 11-2 run, Carlos Boozer proving unstopabble in the first. With another poor performance from Stephen Jackson the home team where behind at the major break. The Bobcats poor shooting continued with just 2/12 downtown shots sinking. Derrick Rose made an impact and gave the Bulls a 15 point lead early in the 4th qaurter. A 12 all run inspired by Gerald Wallace who scored 8 of the 12 points saw Charlotte within 2 points. North Carolina was in histerics but after 2 empty trips and intentional fouls the Bulls,Rose with 25,Boozer with 28 and Brewer with 15 where just to good for Charlotte and where able to come away with a 9 point victory and finally where able to get themselves back in the top 8 and right back into playoff contention in the East.

With Celtics the best team currently in the NBA facing of against them at the TD garden was never going to be easy but with Boris Diaw and Gerald Wallace having big first quarters the Bobcats had a 12 point lead after the 1st quarter. With a 17-4 run the Celtics proved why they are the best in the East with Garnett being a threat inside (finishing with 18) and s per usual Ray Allen outside (finishing with 15). A 13-13 3rd quarter set up a climax as the Bobcats where just able to edge over the Celtics 77-71. Boris Diaw the hero in Charlotte scoring the Bobcats last 6 points and securing a win to get the Bobcats back into 8th spot and end Bostons 9 game haul.

Nothing beats a rivalry game. With the Hornets clinching the previous match the Bobcats where ager to get a win in front of the North Carolina faithful after surprising everyone and beating the almost "unbeatable" celtics". With a back and forth neck and neck first quarter the Hornets where finally able to find some form with Thornton who had 12 at the half and Ariza who had 10. But the Bobcats defense again proved how good it can be only allowing 10 points in the 3rd. Including a 19-6 run sparked by Devin Harris and Jax who was finally able to get over his dreadful 1/10 shooting first half. The Bobcats continued to look sharp in the 4th and Sasha hitting a 3 to carry the home side to 10 a point lead late the Bobcats where able to clinch their first win against the former Charlotte team.

The Bobcats coming off big wins against the Celtics and Hornets the game in Philly looked like the Bobcats already had it in the bag with a 21-9 lead in front of one of the smallest crowds in 6ers history. But Evan Turner and Elton Brand not ready to give up to easily they where able to fight back and remarkably have a 2 point advantage after the first. A low scoring 2nd qtr was the story with Iggy and Stephen Jackson both struggling for their teams. Once again Diaw was able to come up big scoring 10 of the Cats 17. With both teams fg% struggling going into the rooms at the half Stephen Jackson,Devin Harris and Crash all came up big in the third scoring 25 together to the 6ers 17. Wallace continued his performance in the 4th recording his first a triple double of the season and Devin Harris intenionally fouled 3 times shooting perfectly from the line Charlotte where able to come away with a 94-87 win their 3rd in a row.

As the Eastern conference continues to get better and better 2 "up and coming" teams in the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Bobcats met in Charlotte. With the Bulls taking the last win in Charlotte and coming off a 5 game winning streak the Bobcats where eager to end that run and advance up the eastern conference standings. A quick run sparked by Boozer and Deng had the home team out in front early. The Bobcats offense struggling. With the Bulls up 14 at the half the 3rd was not much brighter for the Cats. A team who pride themselves on the defensive end where given a wake up call as Chicago shot 61% from the field to give the Bulls a 22 point lead. Jackson was finally able to find some form scoring 20 last qtr points to get his side a fighting chance. But Brewer who ended up with 23 and Rose with 37 where to hot to cool down as the Bulls move up to the 3rd spot in the East close to the halfway mark of the season.

"Sometimes you just have a good day, sometimes you have a really good day. I think i had a really good day"
After 2 trips to the keystone state it was the 76ers time to make the road trip to Charlotte and they where welcomed by Devin Harris with 20 points and 8 assists in the first qtr. But if Philly have proved anything this year is that while they don't have the best record its not easy to win against them as they responded with Evan Turner once again a spark leveling the game at 35 at the break. Sasha Pavlovic continud his career year finishing up with 12 points off the bench. The Bobcats front court struggled again the Mohammed/Diop making Hawes look like a seasoned allstar with 8 points and 7 rebounds in the 2nd qtr. With Brown fuming at the half the Bobcats responed as Devin Harris continued to prove that he really is a seasoned all star with 31 points at the last break the Bobcats had a slight advantage. Now the NBA has begun to take notice when Diaw plays well the Bobcats win you only have to ask the Boston Celtics that, the big man had 10 last qtr points as well as some brilliant dimes and while Philly tried to hold on Devin Harris shot a 3 pointer late in the game that sealed the Bobcats the 5 point win.

The Bobcats who had won 6 of their last 8 losing to only the Chicago Bulls, where flying under the radar in the East as they took on Atlanta who had held top 4 position for the majority of the season who had won only 4 of their last 10 sinking down to 7th spot. Last time these teams met the Hawks cruised to a victory. ut as any NBA fan knows 5 weeks is a VERY long time in Basketball. A neck and neck game in the first. With Johnson and Smith of to slow starts Horford carried the team with 13 pts and 8 reb. The Wallace/Jackson/Harris trio proving affective as once again the Bobcats where tied at the first break. Atlanta's front court embarrassed Charlotte in the 2nd with Horford and Smith doing most of the damage. Sasha Pavlovic and Jamal Crawford had a fiery encounter which had both the coaches bench them right before the half. Behind North Carolina the Bobcats one of the strongest home court teams had a 22-6 run in the 3rd which propelled the home team to an 8 point lead going into the last qtr. Joe Johnson finally turned up scoring 6 unanswered points early getting the Hawks right back into the contest. The game continued to go back and forth, Smith leading the Hawks Wallace the Bobcats. 12 lead changes occured until Devin Harris for the 2nd game in a row hit a clutch free throw with 48 seconds left to give the Bobcats a 3 point lead and the final basket of the match. Charlotte winning their 3rd game in a row, Atlanta looking for answers.

With the Bobcats only dropping 2 of their last 8 games the struggling Hawks who where down from 3rd to 7th where desperate for a win. After thrashing Charlotte in their previous encounter this game started of very differently. Wallace shooting 2/3 three's in the first and Harris once again proving how good he is with 12 in the first. Al Horford kept the visitors in it with 13pts and 8reb to tie the game up at 25. The Hawks seemed to have the edge with their front court looking very impressive. Things where starting to look bad for Charlotte as Stephen Jackson sprained his ankle and was out for the rest of the game but 22-6 run by the Bobcats in the 3rd gave the Bobcats a 8 point lead early in the 4th when Joe Johnson finally showed up with 8 unanswered points to tie the game up. Livingston key of the bench shooting 3/3 from the field to keep Charlotte in it. The Bobcats no strangers to a tight 4th quarter where able to keep their composure and stand against almost everything Atlanta threw at them. Harris hit a clutch 3 with 30 seconds left giving the home team a 96-93 lead and the last basket of the match. Charlotte wining their 3rd game in a row and Atlanta searching for answers.
