Exactly.

But if Clottey walks the walk with the way he talks, it can be an exciting fight. Seems like he wants an all-out brawl.

I'm really starting to think that Pac is either a pussy or using PED's. ( :| )

Pacquiao camp agreed to the blood test for PED's no less than 24 days before the fight and even after the fight itself but Mayweather camp insisted no more than 14 days before the fight.
Do you really believe what Mayweather said? Him even going far as to say that the Philippines is the best producer of PED's is ridiculous. If 0.00001% of that is true, the Philippines wouldn't be sucking at international or even regional sport competitions.
It's like kenwong said, it's all mindgames by Mayweather which unfortunately backfired.

I think Larry Merchant said it best in an article. The potential fight is so huge that both camps are trying to gain any edge they can by imposing their will on the other even if the actual fight in the ring hasn't begun yet.

Never heard about this. Can you give me a link or the source about this news?

Damnit MikeMan, are you stupid or just plain retarded? Haven't you ever heard or Google or the numerous times I called you stupid and retarded for not knowing about Google? Or are you just a moron that doesn't like to read long articles. If that's the case, shut the fuck up with the stupid questions and learn to use Google.
Here are some results for just using the keywords "pacquiao blood test"

http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=k ... asse122209
He’ll take a blood test immediately after the fight, if that’s what they insist upon. But Manny believes very strongly that it would be harmful to him to draw blood that soon before the fight and he plain and simple isn’t going to do it.”

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/de ... od-testing
Mayweather's camp claims it was told Pacquiao had agreed to have blood taken for testing before the initial media conference and after the fight but would not agree to have blood drawn within 30 days before the bout. But Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, said he could live with some testing, as long as it wasn't too close to the fight and wasn't overly intrusive.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/de ... ug-testing
said Arum, who wants the testers used in the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball. "Regarding the blood tests, he will subject himself to three tests, one given in January during the week the fight is formally announced, one 30 days from the fight, no later than 13 February, and the final one immediately following the fight, in Manny's locker room."

http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/12/23 ... lood-tests
Schaefer, who is representing Mayweather, added: “He, Pacquiao, would only agree to have blood drawn before the kick-off press conference and after the fight.”

Here's one regarding about that HBO special showing him having a test 14 days before the fight, as Mayweather wanted which implies Manny is a liar:

(can't copy and paste)

Just to make things clear, I think...
http://www.boxingnews24.com/2009/12/sor ... -quagmire/
False: Pacquiao is unwilling to give blood. He is the one holding up the fight. (Anyone from the Mayweather camp)
Fact: As addressed in my first article, it is not the what but the when. The week of the press conference,no later than around Feb.13th,and after the fight are when he is willing to give blood. Immediately afterwards. So whatever he had in him going into the fight will be there after the fight. Again. Not unreasonable.

Pacquiao believes giving blood so close to the fight weakens him. That's what he said even years ago when he lost to Erik Morales because blood was tested from Manny 24 days before the fight. It's been like his superstition since that loss. Superstitious athletes are not new in any sport..
The point is not that Manny is being hardheaded just to follow his superstition and screw the fight between him and Mayweather. Pacquiao agrees to a blood test, after the fight, immediately and whatever kool-aid he's drinking will definitely appear in that post-fight test which he agrees to do.

Shadowgram has a point. He did accept the test but only after the fight. That was good enough of a gesture by Pacquiao. Like UFC's Dana White said, it was more of Mayweather's fault, that all this happened. (N)

Heard Pacq won. Not surprising, but there's a saying people are working on Pac VS May fight to happen again now.

So Mayweather wins another one and remains unbeaten. Fight was kind of a disappointment. Mayweather was beating him to the point he started smiling at him. He even winks at the HBO crew. The guys something else  . I respect the guy but thats the reason why so many people dislike him. I wish he would just handle his business and keep it moving. All of the extra foolishness is unnecessary.

Re: Boxing

Tue May 04, 2010 5:33 pm

Now that Mosley lost to Mayweather, the talk about a fight between Paq and May start again. Let this fucking happen once and for all.

Re: Boxing

Tue May 04, 2010 6:06 pm

Mayweather camp and Golden Promotions said that no talks will start unless Pacquiao agrees to Olympic style blood testing.

Re: Boxing

Wed May 05, 2010 11:10 am

Why is Pacquiao refusing Olympic style testing? And why Mayweather won't fight if Pacman doesn't agree? I read somewhere that Pacquiao said that he would agree to a test right after the fight, so, what's the point? Are they scared of each other?

Pacquiao thinks that giving blood close to a fight weakens him. The last time he gave blood close to the fight date Erik Morales did a little decorating on Pacquiao's face and he lost.

Re: Boxing

Wed May 05, 2010 12:37 pm

Seems that way to me.

Re: Boxing

Thu May 06, 2010 8:52 pm

I think Pacq agreed to the Olympics level test at one point, but only after the match and not before. Whatever is going on with these two men, fuck the politics.

anyone else catch Pac-man turn margartio's face into a chinaman's face?

Re: Boxing

Mon Nov 15, 2010 5:28 am

so our faces are puffy, bruised, and broken??

the question about this fight was not whether pacquiao would win, it was whether it would get stopped early by doctor stoppage

and im shocked there has been no mention of this fight especially with the amount of filipinos here

Re: Boxing

Mon Nov 15, 2010 10:15 am

Maybe they are not a fan of boxing as they are a fan of basketball? Anyways do you think a Mayweather/Pacquiao match can happen?

Re: Boxing

Mon Nov 15, 2010 12:07 pm

but every filipino i know is a fan of pacquiao

and no. mayweather is asking too much of pacquiao as far as drug testing goes plus he's got the legal issues

Re: Boxing

Lean is not a fan of Pacquiao as far as I know

Re: Boxing

Tue Nov 16, 2010 11:18 am

haha yes i was referring to the eyes.

it's not going to happen. Mayweather wants his record to stay unblemished. and he also wants a bigger share of 2 fighters. lol it's very sad. just fight already.
