My Player crashes even after erasing the profile file

Hey I start my first season in My Player mode and on the second game of the season I quit and save it and when I tried to load the game again it crashes to desktop.
Now I look on the forum for fix and all I've found is to delete the user profile file but it still crashes and you can't play without the file. any solutions?

Wait for the kitchen patch to be release by late november or early december...

thats the problem, for people who save exit, i created another myplayer because of it (

I read in the 2k forum that it happends only if you save and exit after a time out. mean while I started a new my player and have one more saves everytime as backup.
by the way when I save a game in middle but not after a time out the game dosen't crash. at least not for now

your game will crash every time you load if you saved and quit while clock is running.
i had the same problem, ruining my only save slot after 15-20 games in season.

the best way of avoiding this problem is to save ONLY when clock is stopped (game clock, not shot clock).
so, you can save after timeouts, beginning of the quarter, after fouls, between free throws or any other occasion that makes GAME clock to STOP. and if there is some kind of animation running, it's best to wait 'till it ends, and save game just before the ball goes inbounds. after i started doing that i never had that problem again.
