NBA 2k11 Bugs/Glitches

Did you save it during a time out? Because 2k said that's a bug, if you saved during TO it corrupts.

1) Rasual Butler was called "Caron Butler"

2) When on the Pause screen the game locked up four times so far. Could not alt-tab. Had to use power button to reboot. Noticed that the speakers went "zzzzittt" then the screen went black.
Nevermind this issue. My video card decided to die right after 2K11 was installed but 2K10 still worked. New card works fine.

PC Version (Association Mode)

Im playing as every team but i let the CPU sim for the offseason (doing FA for 30 teams...no time no time)

So the game tells me i cant start the season because a team(s) have more than 15 players.

One team is the thunder with 16...game let me remove a player

other team was the pistons with 17.

Everytime I try to remove a player off the Pistons, the game tells me along the lines of "you can only have a max of 15 players on your roster during the season" and IT WONT LET ME REMOVE A PLAYER

So now im stuck just before my 3rd year of association.

If 2k doesnt fix it by patch, i hope someone will make a program that will let me edit rosters for association files and allow me to remove players that way.

ASSOCIATION:

- I thought AI is smarter now in terms of trading players.
Can you believe SUNS traded NASH for MAV'S C.BUTLER and a 1ST RD PICK?
Why would they trade for Nash if they still got JASON KIDD with em?
They said that AI will look into their roster and see what postion is needed, then they trade.

- It's like almost 20% of the players in the NBA wants out of their teams. That's why too many trades is happening.

PS3 Version (My Player)

Anyone experiencing these and do you have a workaround
Coaches are being fired multiple times in a month and even if a player committed his 6th personal foul he can still play in the game.

I don't know if this is a bug or glitch but when I play NBA 2K11 then it crashes totally. My PC overheats in 3rd quarter despite the fact if I am playing Association or My Player mode. When the game released then it wasn't a problem but in the last week it is a regular crash when I play. I played 2 hours of Fallout New Vegas and nothing happened (PC didn't overheat). With NBA 2K10 it wasn't a problem, everything ran smoothly.

wohooooooooooooooo!! after my 18th game on My Player, i've now officially experienced crashing!

my game crashes whenever i quit association mode
just after it loads the roster
wtf did they do in the patch

My Player Mode, PS3. I cannot get past my 11th game. Played it two times, game crashed both times after the game. Don't think it's the patch, since I started this before it. Sigh, I guess I'm gonna have to wait for the next patch to start a new one.

What I have is more of an exploit i guess. I am banging my head on the wall why the h _ _ l do I need to discover it. Now, playing "My Player" mode is not fun for me anymore. It happened when I was way down below the other side of the court because someone called on my phone and just let my player stood there for a while. When the offensive team missed their shot and my teammate rebounded it he just throw me the ball like a quarterback and there was I dunking the ball hahaha...

Because I was pretty excited about it, i tried it again (intentionally) and man! it really works! whenever the opposing team take the shot, i rushed into the other side of the court because whoever teammate I have got the rebound will surely throw it to me and scoring was pretty easy (but no challenge). Now... the problem is... I am having a hard time controlling myself not to use the exploit hahaha

That exploit has been present in all basketball videogames. It's no surprise.

if your lack of self discipline ruins a game for you, maybe you shouldn't be playing the game

One of my players got traded even though i did not include him in the package.
When i checked the transactions, his name was not even included in the trade.

My Player (but I think this "works" in association too):

Nash got traded to Boston. He was an All-Star in the East for Boston and in the West for Phoenix -.-

Wow, you just discovered the fastbreak. Congratulations Red Auerbach.

Next thing: My Player now got a Dunk Skill of 82 -> I gave him Windmill as Signature Dunk.... I attempted now 5 of them in a fastbreak, all of them went in. But the basket doesn't count! Thats annoying...

Anybody know of a fix for when you save & exit in my player mode during a timeout?

Teams trading players for '23 picks? Or were these free agency trades? I wasn't sure so I wanted to post to see if it was a bug
