Warrick suffers hyper-extended knee, to miss 4 weeks.
AP -- Hakim Warrick of the Milwaukee Bucks was diagnosed with a hyper-extended knee following game #1 of their second round series against the Heat and is likely to miss up to 4 weeks.
Warrick injured the knee while going for a dunk, but was fouled hard by Udonis Haslem. He left on the 0.57 mark in the third quarter and did not return. He was taken straight to hospital and was diagnosed there.
Warrick has averaged 15 points and 11.5 rebounds in the Playoffs. He will be replaced in the starting line-up by Luc Mbah a Moute.

Good luck to your team (in the playoffs) and my NLSC rookie (on draft day).
The season was already done, the first round of the Playoffs has come and gone already.

Well deserved.

Jermaine and Bosh are big concerns, but with Warrick out, I lost my best rebounder.

Let's see, still early to tell.

I started this before Salmons was traded there. Also, your topic is in the wrong section.

Nice job picking up the win despite losing two starters but tough break with Warrick's injury. Good luck the rest of the way.

Jennings torches Heat for 40, Bucks up 2-0
Bucks (107) - Heat (102)

Yung Buck could not be stopped.
With Hakim Warrick out of the line-up, Brandon Jennings knew he had to step up even more. He delivered by scoring 40 points, 26 in the second half. He added 9 assists and 5 rebounds.
6 scored in double-figures for the Bucks, who played catch-up the whole second half after trailing by 11 after 24 minutes of action. Chris Bosh led the Heat, continuing his superb Playoff form, with 33 points and 13 rebounds. Dwyane Wade had 22 and 3 others scored in double-figures.
Dorell Wright went down with an injury after fouling Andrew Bogut. Wright had the hot hand early scoring 12 points in 16 minutes on 4-6 shooting.
Jennings scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, managing to cap off a 17-4 run with a huge dunk to tie the game at 99. The Heat called a time-out. Jermaine O'Neal tried to put his team up by 2, but his shot was blocked by Andrew Bogut. Bogut would dunk the ball on the other end to put the Bucks up 101-99 with 29.4 seconds left, the first lead since the score was 6-4.
The Heat would run out of gas though, bricking the next few shots while the Bucks sank free throws on the other end.
NOTES : Heat shot 53.8%, Bucks 56.5%; Heat won the rebounding 29-24; 40 is a career-high for Jennings; Dorell Wright got re-evaluated and won't miss any games; Warrick is likely to miss the rest of the post-season.

Jennings certainly stepped up. Two more to go.

Go Bucks! Really hope you finish off the Miami Defeat.
Wed Nov 03, 2010 1:46 am
Great games by Jennings and Redd, even a single assist would be a lot for Redd in real life. It sucks that Bosh is such a beast in Live. Anyway, great job going up 2-0, go and get that sweep!
Wed Nov 03, 2010 3:16 am
I'd start Battier at the four, seeing as how Bosh's torched you in both games. I know he's a bit undersized, but it'd play out for an interesting matchup. Good luck in Game 3; I'm hoping to see a sweep.
Wed Nov 03, 2010 4:36 am
tough break with Warrick (i know he's your boy) but at least you still managed to snare a big win

not sure how many games like that BJ can string together and i'm still expecting some big retaliation from Wade & Bosh since that Heat team looks so much better (on paper anyway)
Wed Nov 03, 2010 6:46 am
Thanks for the replies. I might start Chan at the 5 and Bogut at the 4 to help with the rebounding.
Chapter next, tomorrow maybe. It will involve Bogut, because he played like shit in game #2.
Wed Nov 03, 2010 8:58 am
Missed a few updates.

Nice career high by BJ, but sucks to see Warrick go down. Here's to hoping that you sweep 'em, despite the fact that you're a Heat fan.
Wed Nov 03, 2010 11:13 am
Superb win. Liking Hyperize's advice; Battier at the 4 would make Bosh's statline a little uglier...
Wed Nov 03, 2010 11:18 am
Only 40? I think Jennings could have at least gone for 55
Wed Nov 03, 2010 5:38 pm
Or maybe 81.
Wed Nov 03, 2010 10:11 pm
Sweep the Heat!!!

Keep it up
