Thanks "beast_is_unleashed" the mavs game is one that i didnt think i could win like you said they have to many options on offence and it was a really hard game but i pulled it off, yeah Delk's 7 3's got me worked up coz 4 of them came in the 4th and at crucial times but i got the win so thats all that counts.

NBA NEWS

The Spurs release Roderick Ragsdale

The Spurs sign Jamaal Magloire

Knicks@Timberwolves

PF-Thomas<-------------->PF-K.Garnett
SF- T.Thomas<----------->SF-W.Szczerbiak

PG-Marbury<------------->PG-S.Cassell

IMO the best team in the 04-05 season they also have guys like Ron Mercer and Troy Hudson on the bench a hard team to beat i didnt stand a chance against this team if it wasnt Garnett it was Iverson if it wasnt A.I it was Cassell shit!! it was even Olowokandi's night.
I just couldnt get into this one, i had no answer for there offence they just walked awy with this one shooting 51%
Final score = 113 -89 Timberwolves

PLAY OF THE GAME

Well with Kevin Garnett on top form it just had to his and1 dunk over Mutombo....
Garnett got the ball at the top of the key and blowed passed Kurt Thomas he was going up for a dunk and i just thought id block him with Mutombo...wrong lol... Garnett still dunked it and got the foul.

Hard luck with the T-Wolves man, its a wonder no-one has posted a Dynasty with them yet. DO you find that since your in the second season there are some quite good players still in the Free agent pool?

Congrats on beating the Mavs! (Y) I'm hoping I don't meet them in the Finals, as they're very difficult to beat. You can't afford to make too many mistakes.

Cool. :) Hopefully Dickau will continue to be a steady backup. Outlaw might be productive given the chance too. (Y) I might consider acquiring them next season if I need to make some changes.

Oh my god there's so many its stupid!!! at the start of the season there 15 allstar type player in there and its gone down to about 6 now.
Its really bad of EA to let this happen, the teams are picking them up slowly but still having players like Brent Barry stil in there who could be signed 1 year minimum does get to me, Spree , Iverson , Boozer , Magloire are all on this pay as well it just doesnt make sence.
This issue has been posted in the 05 wishlist if iam not mistaken... right Andrew?

Forgot to report on Outlaws first game - In about 8 minutes he had 3 rebounds and 4 points 2 of which were a huge dunk (88 rating) i can see him been a good defensive player not much offensive skill but he is fast, if i had to compare him to someone id say Bo Outlaw ..... maybe Travis is his love child or something...
Dickau would be a good backup for Hinrich Andrew there games are very similar so you wouldnt miss much while Hinrich sits.

The Timberwolves have Iverson because they picked him up as a free agent at the start of my second season, there's afew players now that are playing for different teams in my second season so dont be surpised to see some new faces on rosters :wink:

It was indeed posted in the 2005 Wishlist.

I'll look into getting him at the end of the season then. (Y) Right now Tim Hardaway is my backup point guard, though I generally move Pippen or Crawford over to the point before bringing on Tim Bug. Pippen may retire this offseason (he'll definitely decline), so bringing in Dickau might be a good idea. Thanks for the tip! :)

well finally got round to my first game in a week....

Knicks@Raptors

Starters...

C-Mohammed<----------> C-Bosh
PF-Thomas<-------------->PF-Marshell
SF- T.Thomas<----------->SF-Carter
SG-Houston<------------->SG-Rose
PG-Marbury<------------->PG-Williams

I started off slow missing very easy shots and turning the ball over alot just couldnt get into the game. It was a land slide first have with the Raptors running away on the break every chance they got shooting 55% in the first half to give themselfs a 15 point lead, i pulled it back though strong play by Mike Sweetney scoring 14 points all in the second half but it wasnt enough to stop the red hot Raptors as they tok this one.

Final score....

108-81 Raptors
---------------------------------------------------------------------
S.Marbury 18 points 8 assists
T.Thomas 22 points 6 rebounds
M.Sweetney 14 points 8 rebounds
---------------------------------------------------------------------
D.Marshell 26 points 11 rebounds
V.Carter 24 points 6 rebounds 8 assists
J.Rose 18 points 6 rebounds 5 assists
---------------------------------------------------------------------

PLAY OF THE GAME

Donyell Marshell doing it at both ends...
Marshell played Mike Sweetney tight in the post resulting in a nice block, Marshell gave the nice outlet to Williams and the Raptors were away but the Knicks got back to stop the break but not the trailer.. Marshell ran up the middle got the ball and dunked it home, my fault for taking Sweetney away from his man to stop the break but congrts to the cpu for finding the open man on the break :applaud:
Next game....

TRADE NEWS

The Knicks trade P.Hardaway and J.Hayes to Denver for R.White and C.Samson

Bulls@Knicks

Starters..

C-Mohammed<----------> C-A.Davis
PF-Thomas<-------------->PF-T.Chandler
SF- T.Thomas<----------->SF-S.Pippen
SG-Houston<------------->SG-E.Robinson
PG-Marbury<------------->PG-K.Hinrich

The Bull are i team that i love playing at the moment, the game flow is just right and its entertainment all the way.
Both teams got off to a fast start but it was the Knicks who got a big lift from a surprise player in Casey Samson a sg/pg just traded to New York with Rodney White who hit a perfect 8 for 8 in the game for 20 points off the bench, Samson was just there to make up the trade turns out i got a better player than i expected he's like the new Flip Murray!!!
The Bulls have been so easy to play this year with a 4-10 record they would get no such luck in new york with Marbury having one of his best games of the season. Rodney White's New York debut got off with a bang also having a great game off the bench with 17 points and was a contender for the play of the day with a huge drive and dunk.
Mike Sweetney is a player coming into his own as Mutombo's minutes come down Sweetneys go up putting up some good numbers.

Final score = 95-88 Knicks
--------------------------------------------------------
S.Marbury 22 points 6 rebounds 8 assists 8 steals POG
C.Samson 20 points
M.Sweetney 12 points 11 rebounds
--------------------------------------------------------
T.Chandler 24 points 9 rebounds
J.Crawford 12 points 6 rebounds 6 assists
K.Hinrich 7 points 7 rebounds 10 assists
---------------------------------------------------------
