[Game 1] Raptors 88 - Trail Blazers 67
Game Recap: The Raptors shot 54% from the field to beat the Trail Blazers in the season debut for both teams. 5 Raptors scored in double-figures in a balanced offensive attack. The Blazers on the other hand, shot poorly from the field and was out-rebounded 23-40 as they start their season on a grim note.

[Game 3] Celtics 119 - Trail Blazers 101
Game recap: The Boston Celtics relied on their "Big 4" and a very effective offense to trash the Portland Trail Blazers. The Celtics, known more for their defense, displayed a very potent offense in this game led by Ray Allen, who scored 29 points including four 3-pointers. The Trail Blazers again struggled from the field where they shot less then 50% and suffered their 2nd defeat 3 games into the season.

Game Recap: After a tight 1st half, Rudy Fernandez poured 23 big points in the 3rd quarter as the Trail Blazers pulled out a 106-97 win over the league's highest scoring team. Fernandez was phenomenal in the 3rd quarter hitting an array of 3 pointers and mid-range jumpshots that left the Bucks defenders shaking their heads in disbelief. "He is too good for a back-up", Bucks coach Scott Skiles said as Milwaukee suffered their 1st loss of the season. Jerryd Bayless got his 1st start of the season and responded well, scoring 13 points and dishing out 10 asts. Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 26 markers and 5 dimes.
