in other news- it's been reported that Luol Deng made 50 3pters..in a row in a pickup game. the last 5 he made with his left hand... eyes closed
Interesting. Was he by any chance being guarded by Shawn Bradley?

Bogut already had a scare- slipping on a wet spot. "Bogut shook his right hand and winced in pain on several occasions"
our favorite stats guy Hollinger predicts the Bucks 49-33. Bulls 48-34. anyone yet taking this Hollinger guy seriously yet? or at least enough to buy insider (lol)
and this is not a joke: Taj Gibson has been practicing 3pters. ""I've been shooting threes actually. Last season Vinny and his staff wanted to see me step out to 18 and eventually three point range. This coaching staff is helping me work on threes, and this staff is helping me work on it."
Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:53 am
Taj Gibson three pointer - won't last. Kevin Garnett did the same thing when he was still with the Wolves, he even talked about "being a Nowitzki" or something to that effect. Nothing really good came out of it (horrible %) except for a few buzzer beaters and made open threes.

i personally think its hilarious. he's even changed his shooting form. he should just focus on consistently hitting a 18fter
Thu Sep 30, 2010 8:26 am
Shaq should've tried that. Maybe extending his shooting range to the free-throw line?

Don't disrespect the big fella.

Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer sustained a fracture of his right hand (5th metacarpal) on October 2, 2010. He was evaluated by team physician Dr. Brian Cole and hand specialist Dr. Marc Cohen of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.
The fracture will require surgery and Carlos will likely be out 8 weeks.

Fuck yea!
Mon Oct 04, 2010 2:22 pm
the odds are even now though i know those are nervous laughs coming from the Bogut nut huggers
don't forget to change your panties, darlings.
Mon Oct 04, 2010 2:33 pm
He's getting aggressive because he's scared. Odds are even LOL, Bucks went 3-1 against the Bulls last season and their only real addition was Boozer. I want that money in USD.
Tue Oct 05, 2010 7:09 am
i'm aggressive? lol ok. any way i would react there would be an overreaction to it lol.
IIRC the bet was in US$ in 1st place
Wed Oct 06, 2010 2:53 pm
Milwaukee 92, Chicago 83
Wed Oct 06, 2010 3:43 pm
Without Bogut, Salmons and Maggette
Wed Oct 06, 2010 4:58 pm

He's made two three pointers in his entire 81 year career.

watched the NBA tv's preview for the bucks. fratello, steve smith, and kamla. they all seemed pretty high on the bucks. praised their offseason moves, skiles, and bogut. kamla interviewed Bogut. best question was "who is the hardest big man to guard?". bogut said Yao, who has scored 30pts on him in the past. kamla did ask how many games he would play this season. bogut kind of dodged the question and spoke about being ready for the first game and then try to play every game after that
Jennings says he wants to average a double double
i was surprised to hear both smith and fratello pick the Bulls over them for the division title, even with Boozer out. They both were concerned with Bogut's injury being an issue all year and that the bulls were better equipped to function w/o Boozer then the Bucks w/o Bogut. said it should be a good rivalry
Fri Oct 15, 2010 10:22 am
I also am very high on the Bucks. they had a very solid team last year and added gooden, maggette, cdr, dooling, sanders, etc. the only loss that might hurt is ridnour/bogut. i see miami, orl, boston top 3 there's no reason why milwaukee can't be 4. they're in the mix with chicago, atlanta.
Fri Oct 15, 2010 1:19 pm
I reckon they'll likely finish with the 3 seed, based on how the Celtics played in this last regular season.
Sun Oct 24, 2010 8:34 am
So pre-season is over... Bogut's doing well, averaging 20 minutes per game but putting up 15/10/3 and nearly 5 blocks per 36. He is averaging 0.1 less blocks per game than Dwight Howard in 6 less minutes per game.
Also Corey Maggette in his first appearance got to the line ten times for 20 free throw attempts in 16 minutes.
Sun Oct 24, 2010 11:14 pm
much to my surprise- it appears the great Omer Asik (aka the bogut stopper (lol)) will be a force to reckon with this season. in all seriousness- he actually played well in the final preseason game. he did a great job guarding Hibbert and wasn't in foul trouble
Bulls vs Bucks first game is Dec. 28. geez so far away. our friend Boozer should be back by then
Mon Nov 01, 2010 5:40 am
ok posting in the right thread now lol..
upcoming games for the week:
Bulls: vs portland, vs nyk, @boston
Bucks: vs portland, @boston, @indiana, vs new O
Bulls should get 1 win. chance for 2 since Boston and their vets will be coming off a back to back (i'm assuming the bux will give them a good game) but still unlikely
Bucks- i say 2 wins
Mon Nov 01, 2010 12:25 pm
I think the Bulls get done by Portland and Boston, beat New York. Bucks should beat Indiana and New Orleans, will lose to the other two.
Mon Nov 01, 2010 2:01 pm
didn't the bucks lose to new orleans already?
Mon Nov 01, 2010 3:28 pm
Yeah first game of the season. Can't see it happening at home so soon after.
Tue Nov 02, 2010 6:40 am
Uhmmm... FYI Chicago isn't beating New York just like that. It won't be a cakewalk and I'm pretty sure the Knicks will end up on top.
