Miami Heat [23-10] @ New York Knicks [27-6] After the Heat were trailing at Halftime, Wade and James share some thoughts on their minds.
Knicks Receive Tough Loss Behind CB1 And JB6
-January 11, 2008
After a great momentum to start the game on the Knicks side, The Knicks was quickly downed by LeBron James and Chris Bosh in the 4th Qtr.
Jordan Farmar, Who wasnt in the Key Starters had a great push on his teammates and lead the team to its early lead and with Kyle Korver and Amar'e Stoudemire on his shoulders the Knicks are in total control of the game, But unfortunately in the 2nd Half, Heat Star, Dwayne Wade was put on the Bench by the Heat's Head Coach due to foul trouble having 5 starting the 2nd Half but played much early but wasnt given the chance to take the ball on his hands.
Kyle Korver was their go-to guy early but wasnt able to bring his team in the 2nd Half but luckily Amar'e Stoudemire did the job but still not enough to beat the Miami Heat. Mario Chalmers got into the picture he had his team going when the Heat were lacking momentum and drained some In-You-Face 3's on whoever is guarding him and as Mike D'Antoni said "Chalmers has really gotten far with LeBron and Bosh joining the team,."

NBA.com wrote:Former Knicks Finds Himself Traded Once Again
After the Knicks rejected a Trade off from the Grizzlies involving Hasheem Thabeet and John Wall, The Grizzlies wasted no time in trashing away Hasheem Thabeet.
In a Meeting by the Knicks prior to their game versus the Defending Champions, Los Angeles Lakers Head Coach Mike D' Antoni and Amar'e Stoudemire recieved a text message from former Knicks Guard Raymond Felton, And it says "Hey Guys! I dont know wt to say, whether its a good news or bad news, Well, just got off to my 2nd Team in 1 season so far. Im now in Memphis and in exchange the Bulls got Hasheem Thabeet. Hope to see you guys again when we face each other! Have A Nice Day."
Raymond Felton might not be having his best season, but rather worst, After being traded away by the Knicks for Washington's John Wall, Getting injured on his first game with the Bulls, And now being traded away again this time by the Bulls for Memphis' Hasheem Thabeet. But the NBA media caught up with Hasheem Thabeet after the deal was finalized and he said that he first thought that he was heading to New York! Then he felt great but after getting the news that the proposal was rejected i felt like i was nothing then getting the news about being shifted to Chicago. and I felt that im not so happy with that, but like he said, Thabeet cant do anything about it.
Thabeet so far is not having the expectation he was expecting as a 2nd pick of the 1st round in the 2009 NBA Draft, After being put to the D-League last year and now being stuck in the bench so far this season, But Bulls Head Coach said that he wont do anything to Thabeet to ruin his career, All he has to do is do his part well and we also do our part, And i hope he wont feel inssecure with us this coming months to come or even seasons. But Bulls Head Coach said that Thabeet would get minutes off the bench.
But As said by former teammates of both Felton and Thabeet, GOOD LUCK!

Knicks Bounce Back Against Defending Champs

After a heart breaking, terrible week the Knicks had last week, Head Coach Of The Knicks Mike D' Antoni decided to make a motivational talk thou it was too early to say one but he had to according to some sources who was inside the Knicks locker room and who got the info about the pre-game meeting.
Knicks got off to a 6-0 start behind John Wall, But it didnt last long as Kobe Bryant started to keep going with his shots, But as Kobe kept firing shots, It seems like he was struggling early, And so the Knicks took advantage of it, but not for long, There were little contributions coming from Lamar Odom, Steve Blake and Andrew Bynum early in the 1st Half but again their stroke wasnt for long, Then Gallinari started to feel his shots all were going in, But Kyle Korver still cant make 'em, John Wall lead the go ahead bucket after a timeout called by the Knicks to end the 1st Half with the momentum on their side.
2nd Half started with Derek Fisher coming off the bench this season, And easily dropped 11 Straight Points on the Knicks! But basket after basket from Fisher, Knicks was able to counter them thats why the Knicks didnt fall easily on the Lakers.
With the last 5 minutes the Lakers tried to rally against the Knicks, With Kobe leading the way everything went smoothly for the Lakers and cut the lead to 2 with 2 minutes left in the game. In those short time, Amar'e Stoudemire took charge in those last minutes and Eddy Curry secured the boards, and some backups from scoring held by Wall and Gallo. Still the Lakers rally behind Kobe, but Barnes hitted 2 straight jumpers to cut the lead from 6 down to 2, The Knicks got their lead back through Free-Throws.
Mike D' Antoni said, "If we didnt make those free throws, i bet the game could have gone to Overtime.. Or even the Lakers could have won it, Thats why Free-Throws are so important." Then the Media asked, "What made your boys going late in the 2nd Half when your lead was slowly being eaten by Kobe?" D' Antoni replied, "Well, Actually i didnt really do anything, I just told them the plays to do and told them to be confident and dont be scared to take big shots when needed."

John Wall Lays It In With Ease!
Knicks Blows Kings Away, Spoils Casspi's Late Game Rally
-January 24, 2008 | BOXSCORES
The New York Knicks seems to be shaking off the old image and bringing in the brand new image, What im talking about is what the Knicks brought a new game plan and style of play which was very effective and also this plan/play brought down the Kings.
The Knicks got off again to a magnificent start against the Kings and was once again lead by Knicks Guard, John Wall, Not long after he got injured, We havent seen much of his 1st Half scoring that would crush their opponents, But he sure did bring it back once again, But this time he improved in so many aspects of his game, By not holding on the ball to long and was really scourging the Kings Defense, He had 18 Points to en the First Half along with 4 Assists and 1 Steal, But his presence didn't last long as he was in foul trouble as he ended the First Half he had 4 Fouls, And so Jordan Farmar subbed in for him, But before the First Half scenario ended, Kyle Korver putted up a lights out shooting performance late in the First Half, Drained a 3 to start the lights out, then drained multiple jumpshots to burn the Kings.
In the 3rd Quarter, We've seen maybe what we haven't seen from him in a long time, Eddy Curry! He backed up for John Wall and handled business right, He scored for the Team, Rebounded, Blocked the Ball, And really put pressure down on the block, And he was on fire in the 3rd, He would pound the ball, and simply banging the ball on you! he had 10 Points and 5 Rebounds in just the 3rd Quarter Alone. But lets not forget about Gallo 8-8-8-8? He is the Jordan Player Of The Game! He almost had a Triple-Double, He may not have scored so much, But he contributed so much, He was the rebounder for the whole game, He lead the Knicks in Assists And Rebounds, "Its more than just scoring, You can help you team in alot of ways, Not just Scoring." Gallinari said in a post-game interview.
Another notable player was The Knicks Captain Ball, Amar'e Stoudemire. Obviously he didnt score that much, But like Gallinari did, He did more than just scoring, He had 6 Rebounds and joining 6 Assists to finish the game, And his stats were sure effective on the Knicks strong win. But with little time left in the game, Omri Casspi drained 3 Straight 3's, But as said in the title, The Knicks spoiled it, The Knicks would eventually run back on offense and get an easy basket. "It was a good effort i can say on what Omri Casspi did for us, Its just that its not our win." Kings Head Coach Paul Westphal said.

Knicks Bench Dumps Bucks By 13
-January 27, 2008 | BOXSCORES | PLAYER OF THE GAME
The Knicks really didnt expect much help from their bench after seeing themselves trailing 8-0 early in the game, But the Knicks got back up in the form of Anthony Randolph, He didnt score big time but helped much by blocking shots once in a while during the First Half and the Starters didnt score much and didnt play much, But the Bench did the work for them, Anthony Randolph and Kelena Azubuike were the ones who started to score and spark off the Bench, Azubuike finished with 10 Points and Randolph finished 14 at Halftime, Then after Halftime the Whole Bench started to get going, With Jordan Farmar, Leon Powe and Patrick Ewing Jr. were others who dumped the Bucks in the 2nd Half and dumping them by as much as 21 Points in the 3rd Quarter!
But the Bucks somehow didnt got beaten by 21 Points in the means and services of Earl Boykins and Corey Maggette, They were the scoring buds in the 2nd Half trying to get the Bucks right into the game, "They could have done it, But too many, As In Way Too Many turnovers made by Earl Boykins that wasted our possesions to get back into it despite being him as the High Point Man, He played awful." Bucks Head Coach Scott Skiles said after the game. But yet again bad news strikes the Knicks, Eddy Curry got injured with 5:24 Minutes left in the game and reports say that he just hurt. "I Know he can still play in our next game, Which would be the Bucks again, But we'll avoid further injuries, Maybe he'd be spending time on the bench, Or maybe he will remain in the Starting 5, But less minutes." Head Coach Mike D' Antoni said.
