I haven't read anything about him going to WWE, I was just speculating that perhaps he'd end up with a backstage role and/or make a few appearances. I haven't seen any reports of imminent interest on either side make the rounds.

They = Hogan and Bichoff with a side of Jarret and Hardy heel turn? They fuck?

Why name Abyss' weapons Bob and Janice if it wasn't Dixie's parents.....is it because the IWC figured it out? TNA is dumb

Wait, you were expecting something half-decent? From TNA?

The build up to BFG has actually been really good (aside from starting the shore shit) they got a good "comedy" team, I liked the championship build up and decent promos for the abyss rvd blowoff. EV2 vs Fortune also had a nice build up with a few "dream" matches on the way.

I dunno, it was just a let down I guess.

Report: "Jersey Shore" Star To Appear On This Week's Impact

TMZ is reporting JWoww from "Jersey Shore" has signed a deal with TNA Wrestling to appear at tonight's TNA Impact taping from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Joww's appearance will be on this week's edition of Impact and her deal is for one appearance.

Just what TNA needed to do.

bound to get more "Boring" chants......hopefully they get the hint sooner rather than later.

a nice article from the sun on one of my favotire wrestlers of all time, chris jericho.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/3173236/Chris-Jericho-insists-he-will-remain-loyal-to-the-WWE.html

(on why he didn't come back as his Y2J character)
"My attitude was that people see me 52 weeks out of a year on weekly TV, so I'd be pretty freakin' boring if I looked the same, acted the same, had the same moves, the same catchphrase and the same schtick every single night."

ahem, john cena

Given he doesn't really see eye-to-eye with Bischoff, I'd be very surprised if he ever went to TNA. From all accounts he'll be back at some point after Fozzy's tour concludes.

Yeah I'm really hoping for that. I'd rather have him "lead Team Raw" on Bragging Rights instead of Miz.

Tell that to the on-screen Michael Cole. ;)

Then the Raw GM light effect cues in.

Re: Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

I kind of like how they're having King calling him out on it a bit...still waiting for him to play the "Well you know what Cole? I'm a Hall of Famer and you've never done anything of consequence in the ring, so shut the fuck up" (though perhaps not in those words) card though.

Re: Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Thu Oct 14, 2010 1:24 pm

Do you guys have any idea who is the real GM? Some people predict it's Cole.

Also, what happened to Bret Hart? I remember him having match (I think a tag match with Cena and someone else) which some people said was pretty good compared to Hart vs McMahon. Hart just disappeared completely.

It's unlikely at this point that WWE even has any idea who the GM is.

I doubt that would go on air, but since Raw is always live... :cheeky:

And while Matt Striker can be annoying at times, I enjoy him picking on Cole in PPVs.

Oh, I'm talking about the sentiment rather than the words since they're not going to allow profanity on air. If they insist on making Cole part of the angles by having on-screen heat with Bryan, I'd like to see them go the next step and have King not only defend him but put Cole in his place with mention of his accomplishments (and Cole's lack thereof). He's right there, he's been inducted into their Hall of Fame, why not have him shut Cole up just the once? I reckon it could be very entertaining.

koberulz is likely right, they might not have figured it out or made the final decision on who it is just yet. Two names that have been thrown out there are Cole and HHH, both of whom would make sense and might make the angle ultimately work despite the stupidity of it so far.

Bret Hart is probably working on a per-appearance deal at the moment. He's not on the road full-time, right now he's just making some special appearances here and there.

Matt Hardy has been released.

Re: Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

I kinda hope part of the release is waiving the 90 day no-compete clause. He could fit in good with TNA right now (wasn't a fan of how the "They" angle resolved but I found Impact really interesting) well, aside from the jersey shore part

WHY DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT HARDY BOYZ, WWE?

Re: Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Good news for all parties involved. Matt Hardy wanted to be released and he was getting sloppy in the ring.

I don't really want him in TNA, although there's a strong possibility we'll see him there in three months.

They were very keen to keep Jeff Hardy but he wanted to work a lighter schedule, so TNA was better fit for him. Matt's never made WWE a whole heap of money and while he has a very dedicated fanbase, he's not what I'd call a top draw for the company so he wasn't pushed as a main eventer plain and simple.

Good on Matt for bitching his way out of WWE and Jeff for blasting the company on the way they've treated him, classy stuff there. With the way TNA is supposedly bleeding money though, if I'm a former WWE employee I'm very careful about what I say in declaring loyalty to TNA.

Either that or they'll have them feud, with Matt winning the championship shortly after his debut.

Apparently Tough Enough is coming back. I guess we might see it merge with or have some crossover with NXT, seeing as though it's airing on the WWE website now.

Also, a Bret Hart update:

Future in WWE: I have every intention of working with them for the next couple of years. They've been pretty good to me and I've been pretty happy with how they're treating me. We're kind of just waiting for the next step in the steady progression of Bret "The Hitman" Hart returning to the WWE. I'm not quite sure where they go from here but I still expect to be part of things for quite a while.

This Sunday it will be Braggin' Rights.
What are your predictions?

1 - Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett (with John Cena) - Singles match for WWE Championship
I hope Orton wins, but it will be Barrett because of his Nexus power and Cenation.

2 - Team SmackDown vs. Team Raw - 14-man Elimination matchup
Smackdown? Yes. Mysterio, Edge, Big Show, Jack Swagger in same team. Raw is not a good idea. Anyway, how about former and last ECW champion Ezekiel?

Teams:
SmackDown: Big Show (captain), Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Edge, Tyler Reks, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston (with Hornswoggle).
Raw: The Miz (captain), R-Truth, John Morrison, Sheamus, CM Punk, Ezekiel Jackson, Santino Marella (yeeaaahhh :headbang: )

3 - Team Lay-Cool (Layla or Michelle McCool) vs. Natalya - Singles match for WWE Divas Championship
Lay-Cool again!

4 - Kane (with Paul Bearer) vs. The Undertaker - Singles match
Undertaker, because Kane is still same Kane with Paul Bearer or w/o Paul Bearer. Undertaker will win it of course. If Kane wins, I'll be not shocked or surprised.

5 - Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler - Singles match
I don't know. Daniel Bryan is a good idea, but our Intercontinental Champion is not easy to defeat.
