That trade will bring CM Punk to Raw. That was just a speculation.
Fri Oct 08, 2010 12:42 pm
No please. Smackdown needs Straightedge. And besides putting Punk on Raw will result into a waste of talent after one or two feuds.
Anyway, besides the hill-billy Smackdown intro, this has to be the gayest of them all:
I take it that "Let it Roll" is way better than this. Seems like the contract of Divide the Day is only good for a year.

TNA's big Live Before the Glory wasn't bad. Foley Flair was a bloody spot fest but made me say holy shit multiple times, last man standing match ends with Flair doing his flop head first into tacks.....right. That was after he jumped off the top rope and put foley through a table. w/e
Mickie James publicly in TNA
Friggin Royal Rumble, Abyss booked as Andre then taken out 4th.
TNA started their Jersey Shore people.....turned that off. I hate that bitch Flo, I hate laughtracks, and I hate everything to do with jersey shore.

In what is probably a first for a company that prefers to distance themselves from talent currently working for TNA and remove them from the Alumni section, WWE.com posted an
interview with Mick Foley. They don't mention TNA by name but it's still highly unusual for them.

WWE being 'good' to talent from a competing company, probably to sway more voters for Linda McMahon.
Fri Oct 08, 2010 3:43 pm
Yeah, could be something like that.

Newest member of the RAW roster.

Hopefully he doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Punk vs Orton would be a fresh feud.
Sun Oct 10, 2010 12:55 am

There goes another talent. I'd count two PPVs with Punk in the title feud then he'll go down the cellar with DiBiase, Morrisson, and Truth.
EDIT:

Best SmackDown! intro ever.
Sun Oct 10, 2010 1:03 am
A Punk/Orton feud could be good. They could go back to Unforgiven (RIP) 2008 where Orton cost CM Punk the world title.
What I don't like is that Punk would probably get RKO'd every Monday. Twice or three times a show if we're lucky.
Sun Oct 10, 2010 2:01 am
Hopefully not much Super Orton this time.
I think of this that Cena won't be turning heel. I can see that he'd be screwing Wade Barrett in his match against Orton at Bragging Rights.

con-chair-to! Jericho & Angle with hair! People's elbow, the ORIGINAL gimmick move (cena's is terrible)

Yeah, I think so too. Nevertheless, it might still freshen up his character and cut down on the Super Cena stuff. Nothing would freshen up his character like a heel turn though.

I started watching wrestling in 2002 when I was ten. Seeing the intro of Smackdown made me always excited!
Sun Oct 10, 2010 11:38 am
My favorite Smackdown intro, just cause it was the intro in smackdown when I first started watching wrestling.
I hate Alberto Del Rio character so bad that I want JBL to come out of retirement and clothesline him from hell.

Kevin Nash is getting released from TNA.
Sun Oct 10, 2010 12:43 pm
And apparently retiring, though I've read he's still on good terms with Vince McMahon so perhaps he'll make some WWE appearances or take a backstage role. He's also still tight with HHH, which helps.
Sun Oct 10, 2010 5:41 pm
man, michael cole's terrible commentary is rubbing off on king. even king's starting to call suplexes "throws" and powerslams "scoop slams". cole is so terrible he can't even use a "vintage" term like scoop slam and use it right.
Sun Oct 10, 2010 6:19 pm
Lawler's work has definitely suffered ever since they paired him up with Cole. Considering his friendship with JR and how well they worked together, I'm guessing he's just not as motivated as he used to be. Having a weak broadcast partner certainly doesn't help.
Of course, considering how they're taking their cues from McMahon backstage, it could be some idea of his to avoid alienating people who aren't wrestling purists or perhaps Lawler's been told to dumb his commentary down so he doesn't show up Cole.

What's with the new Titantrons that have nothing more than an animated version of the wrestler's logo? Cena, Nexus, Orton, and Del Rio all had them this week.

weighs in on the Undertaker retirement rumours:
Where are all the rumors coming from regarding the retirement plans of the Undertaker? Some emailers are contacting us as if these rumors are fact and are etched in stone. These are the same, unfounded rumors that begin making their rounds after each Wrestlemania. My take on this matter is that Undertaker isn't retiring after WM27 in Atlanta. I can easily see the Deadman competing for another three years or so if his schedule is well managed. If forced to speculate, and that's all I'm doing, wouldn't calling it a day after, say, Wrestlemania 30 make more sense? Bottom line is that Taker will retire when he's damn well ready to retire plus I still stand by what I have always said that he will never lose a match at Wrestlemania.

Dubleyz are getting 1 more match for the tag titles then retiring
They = Hogan and Bichoff with a side of Jarret and Hardy heel turn? They fuck?
Why name Abyss' weapons Bob and Janice if it wasn't Dixie's parents.....is it because the IWC figured it out? TNA is dumb

I've read somewhere (maybe wrestlezone) that Kevin Nash said "No WWE" but you never know.

Wait, you were expecting something half-decent? From TNA?
