Chasing Forever [NBA 2K11]

Hey everyone. Just letting you all know that it has been decided. I will be controlling the Lakers in 2K11. Going back to my roots. The last time I did control them, I ended up playing 3 seasons and finishing with a title. Kobe, Artest, Boozer, Kwame Brown were my guys then. I guess that was the poor man's team of the current Lakers: Kobe, Pau, Artest, Odom.

I shall be playing 12 minute quarters, 82 games. This is going to be a real life association. I'm going to try and do what Andrew does and that is to follow the real life NBA schedule to sort of pace myself. Don't ask how this will work and obviously, I am not going to play every game. We will see what happens.

Wish me luck. I'm going to get Kobe the title.

Nothing Just told Sit, I can make his banners if he wants. Nothing else.

Will consider making you a banner if I get the motivation. Don't expect it to be as good as Thierry's though. Not a fan of the team, but at least they aren't the Thunder or Cheat.

Good choice. I don't care if the the Lakers are too strong, that's your team and you should take whatever team you like. Looking forward to this one.

Lakers suits you, although I wonder whether it will allow you as much room to be creative. The cool thing about the Stealth etc is that you have been able to do pretty much whatever you wanted. Not saying you cant with the Lakers, but its like me playing with the Magic, im reluctant to break up a large amount of the roster (which suits my dynasty style) because of the attachement to the players.

That aside I cant wait to see what you bring here. Loved ALIB and hopefully this continues in the same trend.

Going for three peat man

I shall address the team selection. I was going to do the Bobcats but with the Stealth running at the same time, it's going to be too hard to run two creative stories at the same time. The Lakers will be pretty boring... It's just a story I wanna do. As a fan, I want to win it all with my team.

Once Stealth are finished and this Lakers story has helped me master 2k11, I will definitely doing a Bobcats story because I am a big fan of Kwame 'cake thrower' Brown.
