Compress .Iff files after editing (its possible?)

Fri Oct 08, 2010 2:36 am

Hey patchers!

How i´m compress the iff files again?

I have a problem with some stadium files.... like Heat, for ex.

If i´m decompress the file, ingame, movement look heavy, not flat.... if i´m put the original file, game run smooth again....

Compress file have 15MB, decompress file have 35MB .... :(

that's weird, I've never had performance issues with uncompressed files, but I figured it was possible.

How much free space do you have left on your computer? How much RAM do you have?

I dont think a "compressor" was ever made

One of the older programs for 2K9 could do it, but I am not sure if it would work correctly on a 2K11 file. I forget what it was called. IFF something. It was the very first one.

Jao, you right...

It´s my PC.....i´m just restart windows and game run smooth again...

I dont know why, but after run iff editor or 3d tools, game starts with some lag....after restart works perfect.... :D
