Thanks. I'd like that too for two reasons - kick Rubio's ass and revenge for last season. :P

Jennings isn't very laid back in real life, so it's easy to make him so arrogant.

Jennings shines against OKC, Bucks win 4th straight.
03/08/12 - Bucks (93) - Thunder (85)

    Image
Ocho scored 15 of his 23 in the second half.

Kevin Durant scored 20 in the first half and Huit Ocho scored 15 in the second, but it wasn't enough against Brandon Jennings, who scored 23 in the first half, as the Bucks won their fourth straight.

Jennings finished with 30 points and 9 assists. Hakim Warrick added 19 points and 7 rebounds. Andrew Bogut had 5 blocks, but just 4 rebounds with his 9 points. Michael Redd, league's 3rd leading scorer struggled, scoring just 10 points on 3-12 shooting.

Next to Ocho and Durant, only JD Mobley and Russell Westbrook scored in double-figures, 5 more players scored, none more then 5 points.

Oklahoma City was horrid from down-town (1-10, 10%) and from the foul line (8-14, 57%), while the Bucks shot 46% (6-13) from three and 83% (19-23) from the stripe, compensating the Thunder 51% FG percentage.

The Bucks started the third quarter with a 14-4 run with Jennings leading the way. But Oklahoma City responded behind Brian Cook, Todd Cooper and Brandon Rush. Todd Cooper had 5 assists in 10 minutes off the bench.

But the Bucks didn't relinquish their lead for the rest of the game. Warrick scored 8 points in the fourth quarter and Kyle Korver had all of his 10 points in the second half to finish off the Thunder.

NOTES : There was a deal discussed before the trade deadline, which would have sent Chris Paul to Oklahoma City for Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka and Arron Afflalo, OKC pulled the plug on that deal; 10 points is a season-low for Redd.

Jennings is worse than Durant in Sit's world, dislike him :x Go Rubio! (yea, even though he's a part of the damn Celtics now...)

Valor, the difference is Jennings is an ass towards players on other teams. :D And I seriously hate Rubio so it's or me to write like that. Jennings instantly became my favorite when he said Rubio is all hype. :)

Jennings has 11 assists in the fourth quarter, Bucks defeat Jazz in Utah
03/15/12 - Bucks (113) - Jazz (106)

    Image
Warrick finishing off one of Jennings' 17 assists.

Brandon Jennings left his best for last, scoring 10 points and dishing out 11 assists in the final quarter as the Bucks pulled out a win against the Jazz, 113-106.

Jennings finished with 19 points and 17 assists with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Jennings scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, all from free throws. Hakim Warrick was dominant again, racking up 27 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks, including a perfect 9-9 from the stripe. As a team, the Bucks were 32-34 from the stripe.

Michael Redd led the team with 32 points on 12-19 shooting, including a perfect 3-3 from downtown. Kyle Korver, who scored 14 in the third quarter, finished with 19.

The Bucks were trailing by 9 at the half and were trading baskets with the Jazz, now being able to decrease the deficit. The starters came out and the bench, led by Kyle Korver pulled off a 12-2 run to finish the third quarter, narrowing the deficit down to just 3 points. Andrew Bogut picked up his 5th foul early in the 3rd quarter and fouled out in the start of the fourth.

Fourth quarter was Jennings time. He was unstoppable. The Jazz tried both Z Sky and Deron Wiliams on him, but there was no stopping #3 this night. He racked up 11 assists in the fourth quarter, 3 short of tying an NBA record of 14 held by Steve Blake and John Lucas. Jennings also had 10 points, all on free throws to close out the game.

Behind Redd, Warrick and Jennings' passing, the Bucks started the fourth with a 10-2 run, taking a 5-point lead. Deron Williams knocked down a three to trim it to 2, but Redd answered with a three of his own. The Jazz got as close as 2 once more, but Jennings was too much.

The Bucks are now the leaders of the Eastern Conference with an 18-5 record, followed by the Detroit Pistons.

NOTES : Jennings has averaged 22.3 points, 11.3 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals in the last 3 games.

Bucks get to winning ways, beat Wizards
03/27/12 - Bucks (106) - Wizards (95)

    Image
Ginobili scored 14 in the fourth, but it wasn't enough.

The Bucks got back on their winning ways. After a defeat in Portland, they returned home and beat the Wizards, 106-95.

Hakim Warrick led the Bucks in scoring with 24, including a perfect 12-12 from the line. Michael Redd added 19 and both Brandon Jennings and Andrew Bogut added double-doubles. James White scored 10 off the bench, Luc Mbah a Moute had 7 and Kyle Korver finished with 6.

Caron Butler led the Wizards with 22 points and 6 rebounds. The recently acquired Manu Ginobili finished with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists; scoring 14 in the fourth quarter. Gilbert Arenas and Nenad Krstic added double-double-doubles in the defeat.

After jumping out to a 38-22 first quarter and leading 48-24 in the second quarter, the Bucks didn't relinquish their lead anymore, leading by at least 11 at all times. Michael Redd had all of his points in the first half, sitting for most of the second half. James White scored all of his points in the second half, as did Kyle Korver.

Manu Ginobili scored 14 in the fourth quarter and 16 in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Bucks had too much depth down the stretch.

The Kings, led by Tyreke Evans will now visit the Bucks, the final game of the month for Milwaukee.

Notes : Warrick was 10-10 from the stripe in the fourth before sitting down with 3 minutes left; As a team, the Bucks shot 31-35 (88.6%) from the line, the Wizards weren't bad either and shot 14-15 (93.3%).

Bogut injured in Bucks 20th victory of the season
03/31/12 - Bucks (112) - Kings (106)

    Image
Warrick scored 22, but struggled from the foul line, going just 4-10.

Andrew Bogut went down with an injury going for a block in the middle of the fourth, but Katashiko Chan filled his position nicely and the Bucks were able to hold off Tyreke Evans and the Kings for their 20th victory of the season.

Brandon Jennings, who has been great all month, wrapped up the month with 35 points and 11 assists on 11-15 shooting. Hakim Warrick added 22 points and 7 rebounds before picking up his sixth foul. Andrew Bogut finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks before going down with an injury during the fourth quarter. Michael Redd had just 14 points. Jamie Lee made the most of his 11 minutes, finishing with 3 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

Tyreke Evans, who has blossomed since taking over the starting spot in Sacramento, finished with 20 points and 6 assists. Andres Nocioni led the team with 23 points, he also had 6 rebounds. New addition Amir Johnson had 10 points and 13 boards, Spencer Hawes also had a double-double. Reigning 3PT-Shootout champion Kevin Martin had 19 points in 24 minutes, being in foul trouble most of the way.

Jennings had racked up 15 points by half time, and continued that way in the second half. He had 12 points in the third quarter. But the Kings always had an answer. Both teams shot over 60% in the third quarter.

With 4.22 left in the fourth quarter and the Bucks up by 8, the Kings had possession, Fransisco Garcia drove to the basket and was fouled by Andrew Bogut, who went for a block. Garcia made the shot and to add misery to the Bucks, Bogut injured his leg. He got up and walked off on his own strength. Nothing immidiate was diagnosed, but he will go in for further tests tomorrow.

Garcia missed the free throw, but Amir Johnson grabbed the offensive rebound. He kicked it out to a wide-open Andres Nocioni, who made a three and Hakim Warrick, who was clearly late to contest his shot, fouled him in the process too, which was his 6th foul. The Bucks lost both of their starting big men on one possession.

But Katashiko Chan and Luc Mbah a Moute filled their positions nicely. Chan had all of his 3 blocks in the final 3 minutes of the game.

Jennings scored the final 8 points for the Bucks and the Bucks were able to hold off the Kings. The Bucks have 3 games remaining before the Playoffs.

Bucks will rest Bogut for final month of the season.

Image

AP -- Andrew Bogut was diagnosed with a sore thumb following their victory over the Kings. The injury isn't serious and wouldn't force Bogut to miss any games, but Bucks head coach Scott Skiles said that he would keep the Australian big man out for the rest of the regular season.

"There are just 3 games left, we have a guaranteed Playoff spot. We can't take the risk of re-injuring our key big man. Katashiko (Chan) will start in his place, I'm sure he will do fine. Andrew should rest and come back at 100% when the Playoffs begin."

The Bucks first take on the Spurs, then travel to Houston to take on the Rockets and finish the season home against the Grizzlies.

Calderon, Dieudonne on the way to perfect FT shooting.

Image

AP --Jose Calderon and Jerry Dieudonne are on their way to a perfect FT shooting season, a feat no-one has managed since the league switched to a 29-game regular season.

Calderon is so far 72-72 from the stripe and Dieudonne is 22-22, making them the only one's who qualify.

Will Sit was close to the feat, having started the season 44-44, but is currently on 50-52 (96.2%).

Heat making late Playoff push

Image

AP --The Miami Heat, who were 8-14 after having Chris Bosh for 3 games, are making a strong Playoff push. They have risen to the 7th spot in the Eastern Conference after going 6-1 in their last 7 games.

"It took a bit time to get Chris (Bosh) into our system and what we're trying to do here, but now everything is working out." said Wade after a recent victory over the Thunder.

The Heat lost to the Cavaliers however in their final game of the season. They finished 14-15 and are now hoping they can hang on to that Playoff spot.

The Knicks, who were holding the 7th seed at one point, have lost 4 straight and have dropped to 10-16, making their chances to reach the Playoffs extremely difficult.
