My attempt at a story

Thu Sep 30, 2010 4:53 am

I don't know what I am doing or if I will be doing it right, I'm not planning on playing any games in this association, instead I am planning on simming and posting things about it. I will take the role as myself, who is magically replacing James Dolan as the Knicks owner after he suffered a heart attack and died. I'm a power hungry bastard so I fire Donnie Walsh and take over the GM duties as well. My goal is to win a championship so I can increase my revenue and achieve my plans of being the richest human alive. I will do this on NBA 2k11 when it comes out, but I have a few questions.

Questions...
I will not have 2k11 on the PC, so screenshots will be an issue. The way it looks is that this might be completely written, and from what I see that is pretty boring. I might just take pictures off my cell phone and upload them if anything. Does anyone have any advice for this?

I will be speaking from the POV of the GM of the Knicks, I will put my thoughts on every move and who I think should player better. I hope to show player box scores for every game, and right down my whole thought process of every move I do as a GM. Every draft choice and every signing or trade I will detail what I think of it.

I will write my expectations for my team every season, and I'm hoping to go through seasons very quickly. I want to detail everything, keep you guys updated on what is going on in the league as well as my team. I want to make the computer generated rookies feel like they are a part of the NBA, and know what they do and who they play for.

I want to take my time with this and do it right, so can anyone offer advice for this type of story? (Yes I read the stickied post)

According to a 2K11 Insight, you can now upload individual screenshots instead of the entire Pressbook.

Upload individual pic you want.
Go to your 2K community site account.
???
Profit!

Anyone know a good site to upload pictures that i can use online? imageshack.us is kind of annoying.

photobucket?

2k hosted all of my images for the Speed. Photobucket/Imageshack were completely unneccessary.

has that changed since 2k9? I take a screenshot, save it, uploaded it, went to to 2k account, copied img url, threw it in my write up here.

It was pretty easy to do off the 360.

Can you upload the entire pressbook on the PC version? That would be useful.

Yes. That's one of the complaints about the pressbook in 2K10. The entire pressbook is uploaded and considering how slow 2K's servers are, you have a long wait for 50-80 images to be uploaded. Hopefully it's faster to upload now.
