Kareem

I've been pretty disappointed that it looks like there's no Lakers teams from the '80s in the game (I really wanted the '85 Lakers with Cooper, Kareem, and Rambis). Anyway, I wonder if there's a problem with getting a licence for Kareem.. I mean, I'm not sure if I've ever seen him in an NBA game - Live or 2K. Anyone know anything about this? Would have been so awesome if he was in 2K11.

He was in older Live games if I remember correctly.

this really was focused on just MJ's classic moments so the focus wasn't on classic teams however i heard something about the possibility
of other classic teams being unlocked but that hasn't been confirmed yet but that's probably why you didn't see that team

Kareem was in 2k8, and live 04

I don't recall him being in NBA Live 2004 but I know he was definitely in last gen NBA Live from 2005 through 09. Pretty sure he was in some of the early 2K games as well.

As STOMPTHECOURT said, the classic teams that in the game revolve around Michael Jordan's career and the Bulls didn't have any matchups of great significance with the Lakers (to the point of Celtics vs Lakers or the 1991 NBA Finals series, at any rate) during Kareem's career.

in live 2004 they had almost every legend there is, thats why i still play it half the time haha

True, though from memory Kareem wasn't among them.
