Personally I love the original covers..but the idea theinvisibleshadow is a good one

create your CAF and make a cover..or a MJ player model to make one

How about this, I was to create a Miami LeBron against a Cavs LeBron for no intriguing reason, but I end up having no photo of LeBron *YET in a Miami uniform that will be appropriate for my concept so I ended up doing this

Was feeling kinda random today so I made these. Pic was a tad small on the Batum, so had to size down the temp a little (still prints right), and yes I purposely moved the #1 logo so it wouldnt cover his hand. But I didnt like regular BG for use on a 1 render cover, so made a different one, actually like it better.
